Hey ya,
I was wondering whether there are ghosts in Sigil, and if that is the case, whether there is an ethereal in Sigil...
Any opinions/facts?

hmm
i dont know all that much about it but i think there is no ethereal in sigil. because it IS cut off from it and if there were ethereal and ghosts they could easilyphase in and out of sigil and that just aint gonna happpen, maybe some ghosts stepped through a portal while in phisical form... maybe.
and i reckon ceratus needs to unwind a bit. have a good night out or something ok man?

As far as I know, Sigil has no ethereal plane (this is working off the assumption that Sigil is in the Outer Planes... I think we all assume that, but is there a specific canonical stance on the issue?). However, the soul cage could be one way of putting ghosts in Sigil.

from what I have read the etherial plane and the plane of shadow only overlaps the prime and the astral plane touches everything but you cant planeshift into sigiln and I dont think you can teleport so the astral plane only touches everywhere except sigil except where sigil touches the astral plane through a door but in every door must pass through the astral plane so the astral plane must touch sigil in some places so it is all a bit confusing (good thing I'm not a guvner i've already got a headache)

I don't see a reason for there not to be any ghosts in Sigil. Ethereal...if I remember correctly, Sigil has no ways in or out apart from its portals. So I would suppose that there is no ethereal in sigil...or if there was it was somehow cut off (I'm not all that proficient in the transitive planes, so my opinion doesn't really mean much....I'm not even sure if the astral and ethereal are called "transitive planes"....that's something that emerged from my subconscious)
