Genasi Pathfinder way

Pathfinder has creatures from mythology in place of genasi - sylph, ifrit, undine, oread, fetchling/kayal. Do you know any creature that would work for para/quasi elements, or metal, wood? Most of all I'm looking for an ice type.

I honestly can't think of anything - I would probably just tweak the undine for a quick fix. Are you playing Reign of Winter?

It seems like a whole book of elemental-ish PC races would be a solid 3rd party PF product if such a thing doesn't exist already.

If it's for name and description and not for game stats, you should try the Inuit mythology. They should have some kind of "Ice spirit".

One part of Reign of Winter, mostly I want to use the mirror men and winter fey. How about a nordic type of water spirits known as nykk, they'd be colder than undines, and different than nixies. Now I remember uldras, maybe they are the best option.

I searched through other mythologies. The Inuit has agloolik - a spirit that lives underneath the ice and gives aid to fishermen and hunters; Norse also has hrimthurs, but they're frost giants; Greeks have Hyperboreans; and there's barbegazi, swiss frost gnome, that's already in the Tome of Horrors.

For wood I think best would be leshy, or bamboo spiritfolk.
