Nah, i will refrain from useless spell use, hmmz, will have to research a variant for this, crap. Laughing out loud

Siddharta will huddle against a wall or corner, invisible, and watch the golem pass by, if that will happen, then he will proceed up to the 2nd level by stairs. (move silent to "sit still")

A better variant at this level would be an appropriate knowledge check, but this is a unique creature, so it's irrelevant in this case.

Sidharta:

The golem does not persue. As far as you can tell, it's still in the ruined room.

Remind me to put ranks in Knowledge (Nobility) if we level some time, that’s actually a skill that seems like it would be pretty appropriate for Canzon’s character. Any other skills that could be applicable at this time, or should I make an Int check in place perhaps?

Does Bemekt seem like she would say something about the entrepreneur or does she expect me to ask around about him before continuing the topic with her?

You know this:

-the man's name is Oliver Corin
-he is a highly successful businessman who owns a number of highly successful bars and inns in Sigil and elsewhere on the Planes

Tapping his chin ever so slightly with his walking stick, Canzon follows Bemekt’s line of sight and returns to her with a look of mild curiosity. Telepathically, he signals Trift to keep a closer eye out for anything out of the ordinary about Oliver Corin.

OOC: Here's how Drum's been passing the time. I feel profoundly disturbed after having reread this.

…He was frustrated, but jovially so. Currently he faced a trilemma of not-so-epic proportions. Either I could play with his new dice, get it identified, or purchase a utensil to keep his breeches from constantly slipping during battle. In any case, he knew that the safety of the Slaadi was of utmost pertinence, and he would do anything in his power to ruminate on this matter for very little time. Constantly hiding from the Harmonium was enjoyable, but exacting. I began to have first thoughts about being so audacious as to relegate his iniquitous lifestyle and settle down some place peaceful, like Bytopia, or Limbo – though he quickly dismissed the thought after noting that the queen was easily frightened. No… he would absolutely remain froward as he moved forward. The day was young and seemed absolutely lupine! MISCHEIF ABOUND!

The madman traversed the heavily traveled crevices of the Great Bazaar. He was magically hidden, of course, knowing that the authorities had influence (though sparse) in this region. Still in his current alternate form – that of a poor female commoner – his mien still belied his true nature. His.. her face still sported a grin that was impossibly wide and revealed crooked yellow teeth. Still, it was more prudent than traveling alone. He had the prescience to avoid the larger, heavily guarded stores in every ward, though the Bazaar- even in all it’s chaos – was still unpleasant for the now dour Aasimar. He first had to find a place to stay, and decided the best course of action to find an unremarkable house, enter invisibly, slay the commoner occupants. The advantage of this would be twofold: first he would obtain a new (albeit makeshift) shelter away from prying eyes, and secondly, he would have dinner freshly prepared. The consumption, however, would have to be hasty, otherwise it may begin to smell. Drum made a note to remove all poisons from his blades before the deed – though he was resistant to most poisons, they oft left him with a bad case of indigestion.

…The next course of action would obviously be to undermine the wise beggars with temerarious distractions. No other pomegranate could possibly annihilate those false promises. KILL KILL KILL!!! The possibilities were highly distasteful, yet only slightly fragrant. Nonetheless frying the letters would extract the highest yield and the most efficient denouncement. Defenestration of the remnants was out of the question – that would attract Hardheads as well as flies – all three of which were the offal of the multiverse. Yes, their meat was tough, in a delicate kind of way, and it was not to be wasted. I hunger no more.

The old man, his wife, and grandson did not know what hit them. Invisible, the assassin made quick work of the family. Entering their home had been easy. He was disguised as a hungry little girl. The distraction had worked perfectly. As the benevolent family began preparing something for the (apparent) girl to eat, s/he was out of sight. The next few seconds were filled with an awful silence as the madman knew how to strike the throat so as to muffle any forthcoming scream. After their demise, he quartered their bodies and proceeded to devour select sections, using their pooling blood as dip. He stayed like this for two days hiding in the house, consumed in his isolation, eating the rotting meat– and when the stench became unbearable, contemplated discarding the rotting remnants out the window, but quickly decided against it seeing as how he didn’t want to draw attention. These were, for Su’ore Drum, the simple pleasures. Yes. He was a simple man, with complex tastes. And soon he became weary of hiding. He sought to find the others. Perhaps another trip to the Lower Planes would brighten his bood.

…The decaying limbs blanket me in their bosom. He remains transiently mirthful, then is filled with RAGE!!! I tire of these rising vapors – Fresh air shall replace fresh meat. One Hunger replaces another. The emergence from the cocoon shall open my sifty eyes and return to the beehive, not to be confused with the ‘Hive’ which is a Ward over. The omniscient eye watches me go, and I remain servile. hahahhaHAh No need to remain truculent when the sensuous veneer of it drives my vagrant soul. ahahHahAH hhAhahah HAHhAh HAHHAHHAHAHAH AAAAAAHAHHAHAHAA A AA A AHHAAAAA!!!!!

Canzonzabar:

"Indeed, I am not."

Su'oure Drum:

You can try to look for any of the party, though you don't have the foggiest idea where to look except Yebena's house. (remember, Yebena and Canzon are a day behind Bruce, Sidharta and yourself, so they would not be at Osael's party in your timeframe.)

My God, that was an ugly explaination :| Smiling

Fenrik Volny:

Your eyes open to flat grey. You still cannot move any muscles save for blinking. You can tell that you are lying on your back on a cold stone floor. The endless grey is slightly drafty, and you can feel cold air from somewhere. Gradually, you regain use of your muscles. Turning your neck, you can tell that what appeared to be the grey void was actually just the celing--the walls and floor of the room are made from similar grey stone, however. By your estimation, the room is a cube 20 feet to a side. There is no visible entrance or exit, and the room is unmarked. When you sit up, you observe that you are wearing a dark grey cloak, shirt, and pants. This is inconsistent with what you last remember yourself to be wearing. You have no armor or weapons or other accesories on your person (you did before) save for a lead bracelet on your left wrist (which you also do not remember). You suppouse that this is no more unusual than any of your other (numerous) unpleasent awakenings.

"It is well that you are awake, mortal," says a voice is in Yugoloth, adressing you as it would a lesser fiend. It sounds like the gender-neutral voice of an arcanaloth, and it comes from the lead bracelet.

"As I am sure you've figured out by now, your contract has been sold again. All of your effects are in the largest pocket on the left side of your cloak if you feel that you need them here. "

Perhaps you would care to entertain me with a demonstration. I am eager to see how you extracate yourself from this box." The golem almost completely blocks the doorframe, save for a small gap between it's legs. You can make a dex check to slip through (it seems like quite a dificult task, however). Rubble still interferes with your progress in most of the room. Depending on how alert it is, this may or may not tip off the golem to your presence.

You realize that you can just will the walls to vanish, much like chaos-stuff on limbo. (Make 3 will saves)

As you approach the door, you hear Yebena's telepathic voice in your head: "For your sake, I hope that you did not bring anything absurd with you."

Fenrik:

OOC: I'm skipping ahead a bit here to keep things moving for you. For convenience's sake, I'll say you are currently a few minutes ahead of Drum.

You step through the portal and find yourself standing on a street in Sigil (the most likely explaination is that this portal led directly on top of a second stable portal which then led into Sigil.) It is late night, but possible theives don't bother you. Nobody in their right mind mugs a guy wearing a scary grey cloak. Following the directions given to you from/via your armband you eventualy reach Yebena's mansion. (You don't know this, of course.) I'm not going to re-describe it the first description is somewhere around pages 10-11. The voice in the armband bids you goodbye, but gives no other explaination of what you are doing and why you're here. As you approach them, the fence gates swing open of their own accord. When you reach the manisons front doors, you hear a telepathic voice telling you to open the door. (It is a fiend's telepathy, and is conveyed in pictures and concepts rather than words.)

When you open the door (with some strain), you are greeted by a extremely tall, gaunt white and tan arcanaloth (see all the other descriptions of Yebena if you must) She is wearing a light black work-robe that clings to her ribs, showing just how unhealthy she is. (Though many of your employers have been in a similar state--not all arcanaloths bother to take the time to eat, since they don't strictly need to)

"Hello, Fenrik Volny. You are expected. Please follow me." (Spoken in planar trade)

Yebena leads you inside to a sitting room, currently lit only a fire in the fireplace. The slightly unnerving flames seem to come from lower-planar wood. Yebena takes a seat in one of several armchairs clustered around a black wooden table. She gestures to the chair directly opposite her own, indicating that you should sit.

In the absence of any elaboration from Bemekt, Canzonzabar eventually grows bored and drops previous intentions of leading the query further.

That would be nice - solo play can get a bit tedious over time.

I can't really think of any further events that would seem critical to act out during the party - Canzon would just be spending most of his time gathering information, establishing worthwhile connections, corrupting a soul here and there, and spreading malicious rumors about Osael.

Of course, there's also the point that he should supervise the delivery of the package. When eventually this happens, he'll do what he can to learn about the weapon's final destination and intended target, while extricating himself from involvement as best possible.
