Canzon:
You finish the leth who is face-down in the mud off (gaining 18 temporary HP, the maximum possible)
Does that mean my coup de grace is for nothing?, i was supposed to have killed it already before i moved.

OOC: Ach, I'll give that mistake to Dunamin. Pretend he rolled a natural 20 on his fort save.
Waiting on Trias and Tyui. The fairy fire 'leth also provokes an AoO from Drum as it leave the square.
"Like just old times! Remember you I!" Whether Eru'Maho actually knows this 'leth or not is unclear. Nevertheless, it continues its preternaturally fast attack on the Ghereleth. [Full Attack] The tentacles first glimpsed back on Sigil rush out the bottom of the robe, attempting to snare the otherwise occupied 'leth's feet. [trip attack by Assassin Vine animal companion]
ooc:Kewl
Drum swings wildly at the leth that just stabbed Siddartha:
NOT MY DADDY YOU BITCH!!!
OOC: HP 7 Mrs. Weasley? Anyone? Anyone?
(OOC: Attack 2 has a +8 modifier, so it's not actually 3, it's 11)
Critical attack (if applicable)= 24 damage
I'm actually not sure what to roll for my AoO - should I roll my best attack (+19) or not? I rolled a +9 instead by accident... but the attack roll is actually 25 for the AoO, assuming that I add my +19 bonus... phew that's a lot of die
Siddharta looks amused at Drum and to sate his curiosity looks without trying to open himself to more attacks from the 'Leth, what weapons Drum is actually using..
He wields a longsword in each hand
AoOs use your best bonus. Expect a post tomorow morning, probably.
Finishing Round 6:
Su'ore Drum:
As it moves to aid it's fellows, you cut at the Kelubar's skin, to unfortunately little effect. You then leap to tha aid of your adopted 'father' (you really need to make a jump check, but the ring combined with the haste reall makes it a moot point) You score hit on the other 'leth, though most of your other strikes bounce off.
Round 7:
Waiting on BERK, Dunamin, and Burning Spear
All:
The airborne Kelubar who is struggling with the telekinetic force remains checked. The other flies towards Bruce at full speed...and misses him entirely. An orange ray leaps from Yebena's (still disguised) hand, taking a giant chunk out of the side of the checked Kelubar. It is, somewhat alarmingly, still alive.
Bruce:
You can take advantage of the horribly overbalnced 'leth and try to smack him in the face if you want.
Erumaho:
(Assasin vines don't need to make the second grapple roll. How the hell would you trip one?
You strike the 'leth in the legs with your scythe, trying to follow up on your assasin vine's feeble attempt to trip the leth.
Su'oure Drum:
On some level the "NOT MY DADDY YOU BITCH!!! " seemed to work, since both Kelubar choose to attack you, scoring two hits out of 4 (for 38 damage).
Before i decide to do anything: scans around to see if there are any 'Leths alive, unwounded and free for targeting? how many are left now?
after a reply i will edit this post for my actual turn.
can i make a 1 attack due to haste, then step back 5ft and not be in melee anymore, and cast a spell?
You, Eru'maho, Drum, and the two 'Leths are all clumped nicely together. You can hit either of them, and they can hit any of you. Drum is currently flanked.
This also means that casting a spell at one of the other two would provoke 2 AoOs..
This is merely confusion from my side, not frustration about your ruling,
but can you please answer, if i can or not, take a 5ft step and be away from both combatants, thus being able to cast a spell, if not, then i will have to resort to the full attack mode i guess...
Right, my turn then:
Siddharta takes a 5ft step back so he is not in any threatened area of any 'Leth's...then he starts mumbling some arcane words of power... (Disintegrate)
the words transforming into a power, the power transforming into a thin emerald beam which strikes one of the 'Leth's (the most unwounded/ or closest most easy to hit one..).
ooc:If, by miracle my rolls are enough to hit and penetrate (sigh), then:
DC 25, or take 24D6 dam (result below), if fort saved, then 5D6 (result below)
Trift rains yet more arrows on the ‘leths, continuing his assault on the one nearest to his master, and then singling out another target when the previous one falls.
Canzonzabar and his illusory duplicates appear preoccupied with brushing bits of mud off their sleeves.
OOC:
Trift fires away, Canzon delays.
Burning Spear: Yes, you can step out of melee and then cast, but as of the begining of the round, you are in the two kelubar's threatened areas.
Dunamin: In the future, you can factor in the extra damage from bane into Trift's attacks.
OOC: In the future (to everyone, but Burning Spear reminded me) please post a second time if there's a signifgant time between your first post and edit. It makes it easir for me to keep track of who's posted. There's a bit of wasted space, but I can deal.
A few things. I've been wighing introducing a few UA house rules for a while now. I think they'l make things work a bit better.
The rules I'm using are all available here:
http://srd.pbemnexus.com/unearthedArcana.html
I am using spell points (Trias, if it doesn't have information on assasin spell points, don't worry, you don't really have enough spells to make it a big deal anyway) This allows Canzon and Sidharta to cast a lot more of thier higher level spells (a problem for secondary casters). It also means that Yebena and Eru'maho don't have to double-prepare spells. (important for Eru'maho especially since druids don't spontaneously cast heal spells.)
I am also using a the modified metamagic system (the per day version)
Baisically, a metamagic feat can be used 3/day, but only on spells of a lower level (so someone who could cast 6th level spells could cast 3 silent spells per day as long as they are 5th level or lower.) In all cases, applying a metamagic feat does not change the casting time of the spell (so a sorceror can now quicken spells if they want).
Bruce will try and move to a position where he is within 40 feet of both the airborne leths. If this is impossible, he will simply stay within 40 feet of the leth that just took a swing at him. When in position, the air starts to crackle around him before Bruce seems to explode with electric light.
OOC: Energy Burst: 10 powerpoints, 40 ft burst (44 shock damage) (DC 25 ref save for 1/2).

ooc:Right, i've read the system u want to use and have no objections, BUT!, , there is one detail i want to adress:
The system explicidly states it does not recocnize bonus spellpoints for enhanced caster stat. (so this means me with my charisma enhancing gorget will not get the bonus inherent to that charisma...
which i dont like, as the normal system does allow bonus spells per day, but this new system does not use bonus spellpoints per day apart from the BASE stat involved.
This applies to all casters:
Technically, in the old system, the stat enhancers didn't grant bonus spells per day unless you wore them from spell preperation or regeneration untill you were out of spells. Same deal here. If you wear the belt when your spells regenerate, you get the bonus spell points, but if the belt is ever removed during that day, you lose those spell points (bonus spell points would be removed first).
ooc:true, but the items would be worn always, unless extraordinary circumstances prevent it , but now you define this, i am ok with it,
when though will it go into effect?, next time we memorize?
In effect as of now (not really relevant to spontaneous casters)
If Drum is able to, he will jump, and activate his ring of invisibility in mid-air... if not, he will simply jump a rainbow to get behind the leths that are flanking him.
Round 7:
Canzon:
Cleans jacket
Sidharta:
The 'leth you targeted anticipates your spell and manages to sidestep the deadly ray with surprising ease considering it's substantial bulk.
Trift:
As the Kelubar Sidharta dodges backwards and out of the cover of the other combatants, Trift fires five arrows. Three strike true and land side-by-side in a chink in the 'leth's armor.
Bruce:
The flying Kulubar is caught in the middle of your electric blast. Burnt Ghereleth smells foul--sort of like a the worst possible combination of rotten flesh, burning rubber, and ozone.
Round 8:
All:
The other flying 'leth (the with the cauterized hole in it's chest) continues violently struggling against the telekinetic force that restrains it. With a wave of her hand, Yebena sends the Kelubar hurtling violently towards the nearest tree trunk. The Ghereleth bounces off the tree and falls to the mud dead (and now properly split in half). Yebena also casts annother spell (Eru'maho and Sidharta can't tell, their focus is elsewhere, everyone else can).
Sidharta, Drum, Eru'maho:
On of the Gherleths sins around in confusion, expecting an attacker from behind. The other 'leth begins stepping toward Eru'maho, but seems to think better of it, and attacks Sidharta with one massive downward swing instead. (12 damage after DR)
Bruce:
The last flying 'leth swings towards you sword-first for annother pass, this time with more success (31 points of damage).
Drum:
Drum leaps up into the air and vanishes from sight (you can make an attack this round too as you come down)
Bruce seems unfazed by the attack. "You know... I'd probably be more concerned about that if it was permanent."
OOC: Empathic Transfer hostile: The leth that hit me needs to make a will save, DC 21. If he fails, he takes 31 damage and I am healed 31. However, if he makes it, its only 30.
Siddharta curses frustrated at the 'Leth and hacks back at him
(these online dice seem to give nothing but crap)
Will edit more later..
Trift stays on target and continues his barrage, moving to a new target when the former one drops.
OOC: Spellcraft check for Canzon to identify Min’s spellcasting.
EDIT: Disregard bane damage rolls.
Forgot to add bane damage to the crit, so that one comes up 55 pts, not 47.
(Making new post because of the late edit, as requested.)
OOC: 'Leths are chaotic and evil outsiders too, don't worry, no Tanar'ri (because any Tanar'ri this powerful would have true seeing, and you'd be very, very dead in that case)
But doesn't the bane enhancement only apply to good outsiders?
I thought it was chaotic. Never mind.
Okay, I'll make a new post with the normal damage then. Gots to go for now, though.
Alright, so bane damage was a mix-up, disregard the damage rolls for that property.
That means Trift’s attacks were: AC 26 (14 dmg), AC 39 (41 dmg [crit]), AC 28 (11 dmg), AC 18 (14 dmg), and AC 40 (15 dmg).
Eru'Maho concentrates and mumbles a few words, a yellow glow building at its fingertips. It then thrusts its hand at the Ghereleth in front of it.
The 'leth finds itself in the incredibly embarassing position of being a white rat. (Baleful Polymorph)
Eru'Maho cackles with unholy glee. "fall again for same tricks you! Never learn you!" It then take a defensive Stance against the remaining 'leth.
The vines once again emerge from the bottom of the robe, and begin stranglin the rat.
I'll get a long post up soon. Homework is eating my soul.
OOC: Sorry for the delay.
Rest of round 8:
Bruce:
Stab wounds appear in the leth's chest as they close on your own, the kelubar bellows in fury at it's new wounds. By now, it's looking somewhat worse for wear. It probably can't take much more punishment.
Eru'maho:
The 'leth is indeed a rat now, and it is being strangled to death by your assasin vine. Realistically, it can't break free. (Don't bother rolling grapple).
Canzonzabar:
You don't have the foggiest idea what spell Yebena cast.
Trift:
Two arrows strike home near the heart of the Kelubar. It's wounds don't close like they should, Trift's arrows are far more effective now. This Ghereleth is on it's last legs as well.
Sidharta:
Your wepon now has an aura of transmutation, on it, as do Eru'maho and Drum's. You would assume Yebena's spell is the cause of this
Round 9:
All:
Yebena casts annother spell, and bolt of what looks like wickedly sharp slivers of obsidian leap from her hand towards Bruce's target. The shards tear through the Kelubar's shoddy armor and leathery wings as it overextends itself trying to strike Bruce. Without lift, the Kelubar falls to the mud, leaving a spreading pool of blood.
The 'Leth facing Drum swings wildly around to combat the most immediate seeming threat, Eru'maho, who casually and effortlessly dodges both blows.
Bruce:
The Kelubar tries again to hit you with his greatsword, but his newly aquired wounds seem to be interfering. Both downward blows miss you entirely and pass through empty air.
Eru'maho glides away from the second 'leth [OOC:provoking] , and concentrates for a moment. Two lightning bolts fly from the storm it called earlier, striking in quick succession.
EDIT: ignore the first SR, forgot that ability counts for didly.
Waiting on everyone else, and a dice post
Bruce takes a look at the battlefield and ponders his next move.
OOC: Is the Leth that Bruce was fighting dead, or just down? From where Bruce is, are there any party members that look in need of help?
There is one remaining 'leth near Eru'maho, and Sidharta. It will probabbly die fairly soon.
Siddharta bulders with a annoyed growl, to the 'Leth: Just roll over and die!
O, Wait!, i flank the leth, that means my 2nd attack hits to )))
ooc: nice crap dice can give me 1 whopping hit... and a near one..
OOC: combat rounds are now over
Eru'maho:
Both of your lightning bolts are absorbed by the Kelubar's resistance to magic.
Sidharta:
Somewhat surprisingly, the 'leth does just that. You notice that this attack was considerably more effective than your previous ones--the 'lethnot seemed to absorb less of the hit. You see the auras of transmutation vanish from your weapon, and those of the others'.

Yebena, did u enchant my weapon with a greater rune of weapon efficiency?, thank you anyway... (Magic Weapon, Greater), Siddharta says, while frisking the Leths for anything of use, or hints as to why here/ where there lair might be.
Take 20 on search on all dead Leths: 23
Bruce sighs contently. "That was fun." He drifts toward the leth that he had been fighting in the air, and starts to search the body, not for treasure, but for something to take as a trophy.
As he is searching the body, he says aloud in the duller of the two voices: "Far be it from me to be in a position to give orders, I nevertheless reccommend that any useful spoils be distributed on a basis of maximum efficiency, or failing that, split in equal shares. In the interest of good faith, we will only accept one share, even though we represent two members of the group."
SCRO-SHIT, I want my share!
And you will have it, I am foregoing mine.
Oh... right. Carry on.
OOC: Take twenty on a search of the downed leth: 23. Bruce wouldn't know about it, but this leth's triangle would make a nifty trophy.

I will only accept no less then an equal share, Siddharta says while taking one of the other triangles of a dead Leth...
ooc: indeed, Bruce is right about those triangles...lol, i forgot these were the ones who use them..
Bruce's other voice kicks in. "Not to brag before the brawl is over, but its need before greed. No sense tossing ya a ring that someone can put to better use just so you can get a fuzzy feeling inside."
OOC: For my own record, I'm saying here that as of the end of this battle, I have 154 powerpoints left.

One can always be compensated for the loss of magic ..., (that is more appropriate on another), with money of equal value..., Siddharta purrs, eyeballing the black glossy triangle with his sight of magic..
"Not in the field! You don't really think a bit of cash is going to help anyone when fighting leths down the road, do you? I..."
Bruce gets cut off by the other Bruce. "Enough. No more bickering, and so help me, anyone who trys to continue this arguement before we even have anything to argue over in specific gets an anchor dropped on them."
Bruce gets cut off by the other Bruce. "Enough. No more bickering, and so help me, anyone who trys to continue this arguement before we even have anything to argue over in specific gets an anchor dropped on them."
Spare me your threats, Siddharta growls,I was never impying anything of the sort, that details had to be worked out in the field, in this "mud-forsaken-acid-hole", but i do thank you for interceding, Bruce..., he then purrs..
Just waiting on Tyui's actions.
Round 6:
All:
The last Kelubar becomes visible, it is struggling to little effect against an invisible force that is checking it's foward progress.
The fairy fired 'leth also charges to aid his harried comrade.
Bruce:
(The trees stop you from going any higher)
You zap the fairy fired 'leth on the ground, who fails to step aside-or even move. (59 damage)
The flier who can move, persues you, he will close to melee range next round.
Canzon:
You finish the leth who is face-down in the mud off (gaining 18 temporary HP, the maximum possible)
Trift:
The tiefling concentrates his fire on the Ghereleth under attack by Sidharta and Eru'maho, landing several arrows through holes in it's armor (46 damage after DR)
Sidharta:
You are also stabbed by the 'leth as you advance (2 damage after DR) You hit the 'leth this time, but like Eru'maho, you don't do much damage by comparison to Trift's expert shooting.
Eru'maho:
Possibly in response to you insult, the Kelubar turns from Sidharta and swings at you. You manage to duck the first, and sensing the follow-up, you casually sidestep it.
