OOC: No offense burning spear, but if you limit the greeness to what you are actually speaking in character and/or use quotation marks that would be great.

OOC:Everything i said in green was in character, i dont quite understand whats confusing about that for you? Smiling, just to make sure, i edited the post, so it might be clearer now...,

Ah, yes, it is good to be reminded, thank you, Bruce, we will wait for the plant thingie and then proceed by all haste

The Joker always takes a good joke in stride (except, of course, when he doesn't), however, he is never one to be outdone in terms of humor.

Papa!! I love you Papa! where have you have been all my life?!?! Come here and give little Su a kissey!!!

without warning, Drum jumps into Siddhartha, and plants a wet one on the side of his face.

Siddharta takes the jump with as much grace as he can, not stepping aside, grunts from the impact of a full grown 'man' jumping on him, but smiles a grin, and then pads Drum on his back to calm him down so he can get back at his own 2 feet...thats a good girl, Su, be nice to daddy and stand on your own 2 feet, ... here is a candy for you, Siddharta grabs a piece of minted candy out of his pocket and gives it to Drum.

OOC: Sorry, I've been out.

IC: There is a soft rustling sound, and the razorvine covering the wall of one of the abandoned houses forms itself into the plant-creature from earlier. Eru'maho's face is set in a determined expression, and it strides purposefully towards the portal at an unnaturally fast gait. It walks past the assembled group without looking at any of you, and draws a highly ornamental dagger. Unexpectedly, a leafy tentacle whips out of the bottom of his robe and draws up to Eru'maho's face. The tentacle is holding a small animal, possibly a rat. Eru'maho stabs the dagger at the rat and a gout of blood spatters in and around the hole in the wall.

Canzon walks idly around while surveying their surroundings, halfway considering if there’s a spot clean enough to sit.

He cares little for the Gatehouse – it’s a far cry from his preferred environment of infernal sophistry. There does linger a few memories here, however. Mortals who took the realization of what they just sold him a bit too dearly and went mad for their loss. Sometimes there were cases of borderline sanity, where the subjects were drifting in and out of legally constituted “capability of selling your soul”. It didn’t excite him much – the real challenge lay in those fully conscious and aware of their actions, those where manipulation into signing the pact was a quest, not merely a game.

The chatter of some of his companions seemed right at home in this place, it would seem. The fiend makes a mental note of how much safe distance should be kept to Drum, to teleport away in case of any sudden moments of discovered family relations.
His attention turns away from these Abyssal thoughts when Eru’maho arrives.

“And so we are assembled, at last... Slaughter is all fun and games but there’s a schedule to be kept, remember.”

OOC: yes, i seem to mix them up, interesting way though that Eru'something did that, would not have thought of it that way, but it suffices Smiling.

Well, how nice for you that you have, still does not mean that my item is worthless, thankyouverymuch, now, be a good little girl and use your talents of annoying with someone else please, anyway....again ignoring 'Min', i am in the mood for kicking some demons i guess and seeing our plant has killed something, i guess we had better start moving into Carceri..

Bruce looks at Yeb, and then at Sid. "In the interest of avoiding conflicts between members present, I would discourage the use of such condescending language. Yeb is providing you with simple facts concerning our destination, her statement regarding the worth of your device would only apply to that specific destination. I'm sure it will be more useful elsewhere. Now let the matter drop for the sake of good relations."

Or I'll roast ya!

What? No.

Come on, that would get the message across nicely.

Siddharta bends his neck out of the embrace with Drum, and replies in a neutral lecturers tone:

Hmmz, well, if you haven't noticed yet, the way she gets reactions from the other members have to do with her condescending tone she gives to the rest of the party, had she not done so, i would have been far less intolerant towards her, and if u haven't noticed, she is perfectly capable of making her own sniping remarks.. unfortunately, no need to go all chivalrous giddy-up knight for her.

Sidharta:

"I do not forget insults. As the mortal says, I provide only facts. If you do not happen to know what I tell you, that is no fault of mine."

Everyone:

As you step through the portal it feels like you being shoved and dragged. After a few secconds by your reckoning, the blackness dissapears, and you find yourselves knee deep in thick black mud. Spitting, bubbling, hissing, acidic mud. You are also surrounded by immense trees, many covered in spines and smaller plants, which look equally dangerous. You cannot see any of Carceri's red sky through the canopy of trees. Various insects begin swarming around your heads when they realize that there are potentially tasty newcomers in their homes. You notice that they ignore Eru'maho. (OOC: Sidharta, Bruce, and Drum all take 2d4 daage from the acid)

Sidharta: 5 damage
Bruce: 5 Damage
Drum: 4 damage

Bruce looks down at the muck. "Yes yes, this is what I didn't want." He looks around. "Lets get out of here and quick. I don't like how this smells." Bruce sets his guantlet aflame and starts setting bugs on fire while he waits for a direction.

Drum is mentally approached by Siddharta, saying; yesyes, i am not going to have a personal fight with the hyena-girl, don't worry... all the while looking for a 'safe' dry spot to stand on.

Plus: note to Dm, i stated i would cast Prot. from Chaos affected by his Rod of Extend, lesser, just before entry..

OOC: Yes, keep track of your own HP. Damage is from the mud and the atmosphere., getting out of the mud will reduce the damage to 1d4. Also, please italacize telepathy for ease of reading.

"It is Cathrys, what were you expecting, paved roads? Wrong half of the ring. I hope you enjoy your week here," Yebena rises out of the mud and into the air. She touches her robe, and the mud and grime vanishes from it.

OOC: Trift has no protection from acid, either, so it would seem he also should take initial damage.

Though his current disguise masks the mud’s affect on his real clothes and minor enchantments woven into his expensive attire cleans it of light dirtying, Canzonzabar still sighs at the unpleasant sensation.

“Not entirely unlike the swamps of Minauros, though the smell is noticably different…”

The falxugon progresses alongside his bodyguard, while filtering out the sounds of seemingly endless bickering between party members and filtering in the moans of pain from the acidic stings burning their unprotected flesh. Even his mortal ally is wounded, but a quick incantation shields Trift from further acid burns. [Casts Resist Energy (acid)]

Siddharta keeps looking for a dry spot, and changes his weapon back to gauntlet form,
he then lifts his robes out of the mud and just stands with his feet in it,
not letting any of his clothes touch the mud,
as even though they are magical, Siddharta does not want them to dirty, damaged or to mucky.

Nifty gauntlet, anything special?
Siddharta asks Bruce..

Eru'maho glares at the mud, and it gets out of the way. [woodland stride]

This way/follow me, it communicates. Interestingly enough, the Adu'jas's telepathy works on the same principle as a fiend's, using concepts instead of language. Needless to say, this makes it much easier to understand.

It heads deeper into the swamp, the mud swirling around it.

"The slower you walk the longer that will be. It will be several days, probably."

Eru'maho moves far too quickly for you, it is impossible for you to match his pace, in fact even if you were walking on flat ground and he was still in the mud, you would have to jog to keep up. Even Yebena, who is flying is lagging behind somewhat.

OOC: Tyui, please check your email for the char-sheet. Also, have you prepared resist energy (I still need your spells prepared list) to help the poor sods who aren't resistant to acid. If not they'll have to convince an arcanaloth to part with her scrolls (that should be great fun ). Also, you need to make a will save because of the fire on Bruce's gauntlet.

Siddharta stops and begs the others to wait a few moments,
He gets some vines from a plant and cuts them down to usable size (while doing so, he keeps an eye out to see if the plant gives any objections to this),
after this, he uses the short vines to tie up his robes so his lower legs and ankles are free, and the acid bubbles cant damage the clothing, then he ushers the rest to speed as we can..

(i see the robes as a dress with legs, ehm, we call this a trouser-skirt in the Netherlands Eye-wink.)

roll initiative.

As you progress into the swamp, you find yourself walking into a cloud of extremely thick fog that seems to be eminating from the ground you can't see anything clearly through it.

"I would advise preparing for battle."

Eru'maho:
You think you saw some motion out of the corner of your eye before you walked into the rather unexpected fog bank--which is is not a typical occurance. You also know that Ghereleths have the innate ability to create clouds of fog. This would suggest an ambush of some sort.

Can you find them?

Knowing how the ‘leths prioritize targets, Canzonzabar distances himself greatly from Yebena and forms multiple visuals of himself.
Trift follows the lead of his master while drawing his bow, keeping ready to loose arrows at the first sight of their foes.

All the falxugons turn towards Bruce and gives a synchronous nod.

“By all means work your lightshow, these beasts will know no other language than that of pain.”
