The voice in Ian's mind seems to be drifting away slowly.

Equipment is not your problem. Doing what you truly want, instead of what you think you are forced to, is.

Enough for now... I will return at the right moment.

"So," Ian says. "You guys think we should check in with Charrd first? Or just swing by Charrds friend on the way there? Normally I'd split up the group for this, but knowing our luck, if we do one of the groups will get attacked by a swarm of mephits or something."

[OOC: So, there we are going again. Sorry that I let the thread slip away a bit.

@all: What do the rest of the characters do, as Ohalian / Tigerfury stops walking?]

Naruk coughs, then replies to Ian's question. "With all that's happened tonight, I think splitting up would be a bad choice. And for the sake of effectiveness, I'm all for going to Charrdh's friend first."

The man in leather turns to Ohalian, and lays his hands softly on Ohalian's eyes. A strange feeling goes through his head as Ohalian sees sparks of light dancing before his closed eyes. A tingling sensation wanders up his spine, and when it reaches his neck, explodes in a wave of heat going through his entire body.

A second later, all is over. The man in leather stares at him, curiously. "We are done," he says. "But... ah, well."

Gritham's voice comes up in Ohalian's mind.

This is perfect. It's working. What... is that green mist all around you?

As the group wanders the misty streets of Sigil, a strong wind suddenly comes up. The mist starts moving wildly, green waves dancing like incorporeal fairies...

Somewhere beyond their line of sight, the group hears a variety of voices, some incomprehensible, others in languages they know.

"Now what've the signers done now??"

"Damned powers... won't they STOP their experiments after they've failed?"

"Wonder if the factol's behind this..."

"Try green mist whether I should easy drink green tea is as to as."

"What the... it's sparkling? I hate sparkles."

"Blek."

Slowly, they see what is up: The mist around them begins to sparkle, soft, almost cautious, then stronger and stronger, until everyone has the feeling of suddenly entering a misty gemstone palace, sparkling and shining.

Ian nods after Naruk replies. But before he can respond, he notices the green mist. "The hells...?"
"Just a precaution guys, try an cover your mouths." Ian reaches up and takes the bronze medallion from his neck, and tosses it to Ophelia. "Put that on. Like I told you before, I'm resistant to poison. It might be harmless, but it might not." After that, he draws his cloak around his mouth, breathing through it, just in case.

Assuming it worked:

"That you kindly." Ian says, breathing normally. "Now, unless anyone has a better idea, I'm all for going to Charrds companion first. And Charrd did say that the bird would 'do the rest' after we told it where to go. I'm not sure if that means we'll be teleported, or we just have to follow it, but It might save us some time to use it now, if its some sort of magical transportation."

As Ophelia casts her Gust of Wind spell, the mist disappears around the group. Along with the mist, Ophelia sees three mephits who were just beyond her line of sight which are blown away by her magic, screaming in panic.

Curiously, despite the mist being blown away, the sparkling lights still hover through the air. A tiny sparkle floats right towards the Masked Gnoll, ceases its motion, and grows slightly. The ball of light - no more than a baby's thumb in size - transforms and shows a smiling face for the Masked Gnoll, then explodes in another five sparkles which then quickly disappear.

For a range of about 60 feet, the street is clear in front of the group, but the mist slowly returns to where it has been.

Naruk watches the sparkles with obvious fascination, then shakes his head and turns to Ian. "Yes, I'm all for using the bird now."

The Masked Gnoll grins and lowers his arms as the sparkle smiles at him, and leaps back when it burts.

OOC: I think I have it. I remember saying that I had it, cause I had it on my shoulder at one point.

"Fine then, Bird it is." Ian pulls the bird out of his pack. "Now, Charrds companion. Something about a Vampire hunter. She...go? No. Sheeram! Thats it."

Ian places the bird in his hand, looks it dead in the eyes, and says in a loud and clear voice. "Take us to Sheeram the Vampire Hunter."

The bird flies up into the air, and at first, it seems the animal simply leaves the group behind. It makes a few loops, flies up into the mist way beyond line of sight... and then suddenly returns, straight towards the ground.

Before anyone knows what's happening, the bird smashes onto the street, but instead of blood and bones spreading everywhere, a large ball of light appears, covering the entire group in its blueish light. Four or five seconds later, the light disappears again, and the group is in a different street: A large, clean street without any of the green mist, and noble buildings with large gardens all around them.

They're on a street leading towards a great plaza, most probably somewhere in the Lady's Ward.

Right where the bird crashed on the ground, a humming sound appears - until the bird flies up from the ground again, playfully flying around and through the group, until it turns to a large, unusual mansion... unusual because, opposite to almost any building around, there are neither fences nor guards nor any other obvious protections.

The surrounding garden of the mansion is full of beautiful flowers and green grass, and a small rubble path leads to a double-wing door of ornamented wood.

Ian looks at his surroundings. "Fantastic!"
Ian starts to walk toward the door of the mansion, staying on the path. Just because there isn't a fence doesnt means there arnt defenses.

As Ian steps on the small white rubble stones, his footsteps make friendly sounds - there is no other way of describing it. It is as if the ground itself welcomes him.

After a few steps, a red silk rope falls out of some hidden containment just above the door. Ian can hear slight sounds of a bell, which - as it appears - he can probably ring by pulling the rope.

Ophelia keeps about ten paces behind Ian checking out all the flora and fauna on her way to the door, though being VERY careful not to touch it or move even a hand over it. She just takes everything in with her eyes, then catches up with Ian at the door. She was distracted when the bird went through the door so she asks Ian, "What happened to the bird?"

OOC: Does she or Hoot get an unnatural feeling to this place, like either glamour or magic is beiong used?

Hoot becomes slightly nervous as Ophelia approaches the mansion. It seems he is unsure whether he feels some sort of danger or not.

The flora and fauna in this garden doesn't seem to be magical as in created or affected by spells - but what Ophelia does notice is that all the plants and animals here appear very beautiful, some even appearing holy.

Most probably, the elements of this garden have been collected from all over the Upper Planes.

*Blackthornes starts to follow the group with caution, when he catches up to Ophelia he whispers to her and Ian.*
"This house is way too nice to be so defenceless. Something is very strange about this idea to me, then again, I have not spent much time around this particular part of sigil, so I could be wrong. Experiance on Fearun has told me that just walking in to such houses ain't such a grand idea. Do either of you know if this sheeram guy was expecting us?"

OOC: Sorry about the lack of posting. Got caught up in a free MMORPG, and I have exams coming up.

Yes. Yes, it is.

When Ian makes the comment about poison, Ohalian will grab his gas mask and pull it up over his nose and mouth, while running his chemical scanners to examine the composition of the clouds.

When the bird crashes into the ground and teleports the group, Ohalian is startled.

What the fuck...

"I thought only the Lady of Pain could create portals in Sigil."

As Ohalian runs his chemical scanners, something unexpected happens: The results change constantly, as if the mist consisted of a matter which is instable at atomic level - or even beyond. What is astonishing about this is the fact that the mist didn't change in appearance or consistency.

So, Mr. Smith... now that we see what you see we'd like to know more about the man in leather. Can you show him to us?

Ohalian pulls on the rope, and a beautiful bell sound appears. Only a second later, the door opens, giving free sight to a large entrance hall and a beautiful young girl, maybe 12 years old, dressed in an exquisite yellow and red ball gown. The gown fits perfectly to her vivid red curls which reach down to her hips.

The hall behind her is far larger than you expected - and actually larger than the house itself. This room which shouldn't fit into its building is roughly 200 feets wide and long, with dozens of doors and two enormous stair cases leading to an upper story seventy feet above the ground. The floor is made of large black and white tiles, like a chess board. Several chandeliers with a few dozen candles each bring light into the room - which, as you notice, doesn't have a single window.
This room alone is almost one and a half times as large as the mansion appeared from the outside.

The girl smiles friendly. "Welcome. The bird told of your coming. Enter and be my guests."

Ian takes a look around the inside of the mansion, and then turns back toward the girl.
