Ya'shenn goes to retrieve her dagger -- probably from the snake that Ii'Jyka'Vaar is now holding -- while the others speak. She greets Na'rai courteously, but forms no strong opinion concerning the newcomer as yet, other than the fact that this member of the Band of Jade is extremely well-armed.

OOC (Dunamin): I'm not Azure, so take what I say with a grain of salt but Jade's fortress was near Tur'nath and was destroyed along with it (that can't be particularly uncomon knowledge), so there's not an awful lot of the warband to have political leanings,
Na'rai's eyes narrow in slight puzzlement at the signs of conflict of leadership between Kirath and the apparent kith'rak of the rather mismatched warband that has joined the rest of the attacking force.
To Sthar via mindlink: "Brother, how many enemies survive? Can you point us towards a clear rout or failing that, make one?"
To the others: "Do not waste your incindiaries. My battle-brothers will clear a path through the brush."
Na'rai nods to acknowledge each member of the group (her nod is slightly shallower to Ar'dru), but is inwardly slightly pleased to hear Ya'shnen's Tur'nath accent. It is a releif after spending time too much with graith and Apocolyte forces. She also regards K'tch with some confusion.
She follows near the front of the group, but allows anyone more enthusiastic about leading the advance to move ahead of her.
OOC: Na'rai's positive impression of Ya'shnen probably won't last She's probably not too fond of the Reconciliation.
Ar'dru notes the depth of Na'rais bow and dismisses her as a mildly insolent underling, taking a mental note to speak to Kirath about her later.
"Indeed cousin", he states, swapping an alchemists fire for a psi-grenade before blurring his form and taking off after the diminuitive Githyanki.
Ar'dru flys low over any cover at first to conceal his original location, pulling out a black smoker and a burning dust in preparation for the attack.

Kirath launches into the air and heads towards the structure the yuan-ti and the THE ENEMY is currently taking shelter in. He then barks the command word for the wand "Inferno". After launching his first volley of fiery death Kirath will go invisible.
(OOC remember I still have Entropic Warding up 20% miss chance on all missle weapons and can't be tracked by scent etc.)
Ar'dru tosses a black smoke down about 30' in front of the gazebo as he flies towards a gap in the groups of guards, keeping the as equidistant as possible.
As he lands he throws a burning dust down and moves in next to it before it spreads, holding his sword in one hand, the psi grenade in the other.

[Got a bit of action to catch up on]
The Astral skiff circles the garden courtyard after 'dropping off' Na'rai. Off on the opposite side of the gazebo, it drops a number of explosives and incendiaries, creating a brownish smoke of alchemist fire and plant matter. It disappears from sight, but quickly comes back, aiming for the gazebo and moving at ramming speed. There is a loud crash, and the gith see the roof of the gazebo shudder and tilt, but it does not fall.
In the air, Ar'dru and Kirath can see more. The skiff managed to crash right through one pillar, and sever a second. The second crash took its momentum away, however, and when the top of the second pillar comes down on it, the skiff is very nearly driven to the ground. It slowly moves forward, turning and trying to get away again. All six teams of soldiers had been firing arrows at the skiff on approach, which proved completely ineffective, so now that it is reachable, two teams swarm it. The shieldmen set up in front of it, and the spearmen rush in and try to get the bottom hatch open. The shieldmen and bowmen do manage to stop the skiff from moving, though it takes all of their efforts. Ther efforts are in vain when Krath drops a fireball on them. All six slaves run around screaming with their tunics aflame, falling to the ground dead in short order. The armored and tougher slave-soldiers survive, but the skiff is now free to escape, and rises into the air again.
Ar'dru throws a black smoker as he swoops over the gazebo with Kirath, then lands in the courtyard, throwing a burning dust at his own feet. The smell is acrid, and even Ar'dru's flame-resistant lungs balk at first to breathing the stuff in. He lands between two groups of guards, and thinking they have the half-dragon flanked, they move in. They do not realize their mistake at first. To Ar'dru, the expanding cloud looks like a white smoke with little flaming sparks crackling throughout, but from a distance it looks like a kicked-up cloud of dust or white ash. The squads move in, and the spearmen are close enough to strike at Ar'dru before they get a real whiff of the burning dust cloud. The cloud expands rapidly, however, and the yuan-ti and their slaves soon find themselves in a cloud of something they cannot breathe. They try to retreat, but the shieldmen, closer, weaker, and less mobile, are unable to escape the cloud and are overwhelmed, coughing until blood runs from their mouths.
None of the spears were able to pierce Ar'dru's armor, and now the spearmen try to escape the expanding cloud in a panic. [Ar'dru gets an AoO]
Ignoring the spears skittering against his armour Ar'dru calmly tucks the grenade away, grips his sword with both hands and swings at the retreating spearmen.
"We're making a better world. All of them, better worlds." - Anonomous Harmonium Officer
With a wide sweep, the seven-foot duthkagith wielding a six-foot blade manages to sever the spine of one retreating spearman and bury his sword in the ribs of a second. The dead soldier falls over, pinning the second, who, unable to escape the cloud, and having a silver greatsword in one lung, quickly suffocates. Ar'dru's heavy greatsword has to be drawn out from under a dead weight, and is slow to recover.
[Rest of party can act next round. DM rules that the githyanki pop in this round, so can act next round should they choose. The bit about Ar'du's sword is an IC remark to explain why he's last in init order.

Ar'dru places his foot on the fallen guard and wrenches his blade free with a sickening crack of displaced bone. Irritated at the lost time he glances around for the next group and, with a flick of his wings, propels himself back into combat, positioning himself to avoid wasting his time on the shield bearers where possible and targeting the bow wielding guards.

Kirath harnesses his eldritch powers and vanishes from sight. He watches how the Duthka'gith slaughtered his way through the yuan-ti's rabble and is impressed. [Since Gy didn’t order any specific path for the gazebo, I’ll go ahead and choose to keep us moving.]
After the remaining group has congregated closely Du’minh switches the Arbiter for his adamantine mace and offers a hand to bring as many with him as he can during the teleportation. The team vanishes from the garden perimeter and pops in very close by the gazebo and north-east of it – opposite to the side from where it was rammed by the skiff.
Du’minh quickly surveys the scene on their arrival, noting troop positions, scanning for magical auras and trying to determine potential escape routes.
Foremost, however, he looks for any supporting pillars that still remain after the crash. If none of the githyanki skiff crew have disembarked and engaged the enemy inside the gazebo, he dashes ahead to smash a pillar and work towards bringing down as much of the building he can.
“I’ll go for deconstruction. Watch out when the roof comes down.”

Technically, I think Du can only bring 2 giths with him. If so, he offers to bring along Ya’shenn and Ii’Jyka’Vaar, not trusting the newcomer and knowing that Gy-Nath can transport Na’rai, K’tch, and himself.
I’ll hold off with any rolls until Azure has described the scene, in case circumstances shouldn’t be like Du’minh hoped.
Na will follow, using annother gith's d-door to get into the fight, knowing full well her tactical own tactical advantage shouldn't be wasted. She will take note of any ghaik and determine whether she should engage them.
Ar'dru hefts his sword, partially concealed by an expanding cloud of burning dust. The Archers of the two squads who foolishly tried to rush him have taken several steps backward, with bows drawn. Both fire at him from either direction as he rushes one of them. The arrows, however, break against his armor.
[Is Ar'dru attacking tho bowman whose spearmen were killed in the AoO, or the one whose spearmen escaped?]
So far, none of the other squads have moved to engage him, as per their masters' orders. The two squads on the west side recover their formation quickly and the bowmen fire at Kirath, but he vanishes from sight. One of the arrows, however, finds the invisible mage
On the northeast side of the gazebo, Du'minh brings in Ya'shenn and Ii'jyka'vaar. They see the illithids and their Yuan-ti nobles are still in the shelter of the gazebo. They turn at the sound of air displacement caused by Du'minh's dimension door. The illithid indicate in the githyankis' direction, and the two halfbreed nobles move to block them. Both are wielding elegant scimitars with magical auras. They do not appear to be wearing armor, but fine silk garments tailored to fit. Their skins are scaly, and their heads distinctly snake-like, complete with fangs dripping poison. The abomination that for now hangs back witht the two illithid looks very much like a great cobra with muscular arms.
A second after Du'minh, Yashenn, and Ii'jyka'vaar appear on the northeast, Gy-Nath brings in Na'rai and K'tch on the western side and engage the nearest squad of soldiers.
Gy-Nath=24, K'tch=21, Na'rai=19, Ya'shenn=18, Yuan-ti Nobles=15, Illithids=14 Kirath=14, Ii'jyka'vaar=12, Du'minh=11, All Guards=9, Ar'dru=5
After touchdown, Ii'Jyka'Vaar cautiously scans around her and keeps an eye out towards the 2 Illithids and the Abomination.

EDIT: Natural 19, so close!
Ya'shenn takes out one of her two remaining psi-grenades... but decides that hurling one right into a group containing two illithids may not be wise. Instead, she throws the grenade into another cluster of enemies: the squad of yuan-ti and shield-slaves that haven't yet been introduced to the wonders of either alchemy or psionics. Should it prove to be a good throw, she projects ~explode into the psionically empowered crystal.
The new, post-teleportation position of the three of them -- Du'minh, Ii'Jyka'Vaar, and herself -- may be good for the two melee fighters, but is perhaps not so ideal for a psion. Ya'shenn makes sure to keep both githwarriors between herself and the gazebo, and looks for a nearby statue or even a basin to use as partial cover against missile fire.

Ya'shenn pitches the psi-crystal at the advancing guards. It hits the stones and rolls between the feet of the shieldmen, under the shields. She wills it to explode and the shield-slaves fly a few feet into the air. Shards of crystal fly into the faces of the yuan-ti soldiers. The soldiers are wounded, but the shield slaves are shredded below the waist.
Meanwhile, Gy-nath's team engages their own set of guards. Gy tries to punch through the shield-wall but the shield-men are well-trained, or cowardly, for they stay well hidden behind their shields. Gy does manage to come around the side and cut off the ear of the rightmost shieldman. Na'rai beside him prepares her strike. A faint jade shimmer appears on the points of her millitary fork. She drives her weapon staight through the shield, and through the slave manning it too.
The yuan-ti nobles in the gazeebo do not move to engage the githyanki, but instead start hissing in unison. The noise resonates like a choir, a horrible sound that conjures up a primordial fear of all things cold and serpentine. [DC 17 will save, EDIT: nevermind none of them overcame anyboy's PR]
Ii'jyka'vaar holds herself ready to defend Ya'shenn, while Du'minh pulls out the mace of disruption and savagely attacks a pillar. The stone cracks under his blows, and more tiles break off the roof and rain down along the outside. The pillar falls, and the entire roof shifts a little more, but the structure doesn't fall down yet.
The yuan-ti soldiers that took Ya'shenn's blast recover themselves and charge forward, the bowman drawing forth a wavy-bladed shortsword. [Ii can attack them before they close the distance completely, since she delayed her actions. She can full-attack but the spears' reach preclude an AoO. She will get an AoO vs the bowman, though]
Ar'dru swings at a yuan-ti archer, but the slightly-reptilian soldier is a slippery snake. He trips up the big duthka'gith and causes him to crash into a basin, breaking it and spilling the water. By the time Ar'dru recovers, the bowman has eluded him and is running off towards a path, possibly to fetch another of the roaming squads.
Ii'Jyka snorts in arrogance when she hears the feeble hissing sounds of an attempt by the snakes to sing a magical song, and returns the favor with a rouwdy boisterous song of her own, not including any magic... (am not to good in raudy lirics, dm, pm me anything helpfull in this regard plz, lol).
When she sees the archers and spearmen, she readies her blade, and hacks away when anything comes in reach...
Ii'Jyka'Vaar hacks at the spearmen as if they arent real, and splinters through two of them as if they try to block her way to the archers behind them... the first tries to duck as the swordcomes in high, but Ii'Jyka had seen the ruse and brings the weapon down at the critical moment when the spearmen should have been an inch faster, and an arm and spear come apart in two... she then turns and swipes at the second spearman comming at her and manages to block the spear with her shoulderpiece and elbowguard of her gods-armor, then proceeds to hack at the second yuanti soldiers head and rip that open (presuming that the first hit kills that spear-guard, if not, then she wastes the 1st guard with her 2nd attack, she goes for kills, not woundings),and as an afterthought make a glancing attempt of an attack at the archer behind the two spear-guard she had just wasted, and proceeds to only make a decent gash in his leather armor.
With every hit she makes, and each bit of life drained from her with the blades contact on an enemy, she sighs a bit and exhales a piece of a verse she has used before, "Nerhack, Nergack, Nerghaaal..."

Emerging from a grey-white cloud of splintered stone and structure, Du’minh proceeds at speed to progress his demolition. He casts a defiant glance at the hissing choir, rejecting their mental intrusion as he would the Great Enemy.
“Enough music has failed to assail us already, snakes! You shall be screaming tunes at the top of your bloody lungs before we are done with you!”
The warrior singles out a new pillar as his target, the most damaged yet still able to hold up the gazebo. He bursts across with the mace of smiting drawn back and thunders it home with all his might put into the strike.

Nat. 18 - oh Dice of Gith, you taunt me so!
[Ya'shenn's AC is higher than this, despite the fact she doesn't wear armor. Hence, no damage.]
Showing rather more nimbleness than usual, Ya'shenn barely dodges a vicious stab from the yuan-ti's shortsword.
"Thank you, githees." It's perhaps the first time since initially meeting Ii'Jyka'Vaar that Ya'shenn has honored the knight with the use of any of her titles. After K'tch had been stabbed and sliced by one of the yuan-ti earlier, Ya'shenn is not particularly eager to fight these particular graith sword to sword. How fortunate, then, that this one is already wounded with a violence-loving knight so close to hand. Hoping that Ii'Jyka'Vaar will refrain from openly mocking her level of skill as a swordsgith, the psion draws her undead-hating blade and circles to the yuan-ti's opposite flank. She slashes at the side the yuan-ti is most likely accustomed to having guarded by a shield-slave.

Kirath survey the battlefield from his aerial view. Seeing the destruction his new compatriots have wrought leaves a warm feeling in his usually cold heart. He begins humming an old Gith war song as he flies over the battlefield and finds his prey.
With a shout of "Inferno" he lets loose another ball of fire loose on the the yuan-ti that are otherwise unoccupied by his party mates
..........
The cadre of guards that had tried to swarm the skiff is instinctively moved into a line of spears with the archers behind, but they do not abandon their side of the gazeebo to attack any of the other githyanki. However, the two bowmen aim at Gy-Nath and Na'rai. Kirath, hovering invisibly above the scene, drops another fireball on the already-singed group. The flames scatter them. Only one of the bowman actually gets off a shot, and that one is so wild it sails off into the garden. The yuan-ti break. Three run over to a pair of water basins to put out the flames, two run into the jungle-like garden and stop-drop-roll, the last trips over a dead shield-slave and fails to put himself out. The flames catch the soldier's clothing and armor on fire, and he dies hissing wildly.
Frustrated by the shielmans' successful tactic of keeping him from attacking their masters, Gy-Nath takes a step back and raises his left hand in a fist pointing forward. He opens his fingers, and a grey metalic gleam flashes from his eyes. Behind the shields, one of the spearmen stumbles backward a few steps. Blood runs from his nose, and both eyes start to blacken with bruising. The yuan-ti solder looks alarmed, but grips his spear and moves back up to the line.
N'rai withdraws her military fork and stabs at another shieldman. The slave tries to fend her off, and though he is successful in keeping the warror away from his masters, he pays the price. Na'ai finds an opening in the shieldman's defence and stabs him in the ribs twice in quick succession. The shieldman collapses painfully. With two of the three shields down, and the third slave wounded the soldiers behind are now more exposed.
Ya'shenn draws her blade and stabs at the yuan-ti's unprotected face. Her sword hits home, entering the soldier's eye and driving into his brain.
In the gazeebo, the one of the illithid hisses at the yuan-ti nobles. "Fools! Their minds are too strong for your feeble wills. Get those ones destroying the pillars, there!" The illithid points toward Ya'shenn, Ii, and Du'minh. The two nobles nod and draw their scimitars. They spit on the blades as they advance, coating them with a dark venomous liquid. One goes for Ii, the other for Du'minh. The knight manages to deflect the yuan-ti's stroke and strike back, wounding the serpentine graith. Du'minh, at work on another pillar, is not so lucky. Just as he starts to crack the pillar, the yuan-ti noble attacks. The graith is skilled, and manages to cut the rish-i-chal. [DC 17 fort, initial & secondary both d6 con damage]
As the two yuan-ti attck, the illithid turn around and try to flee the scene. The yuan-ti abomination stays with them. They go towards the east, where Ar'dru is the only defender, but they are not quite quick enough. Ignoring the yuan-ti attacking him, Du'minh takes yet another strong swing at the pillar. This does it, fragments of stone shower the attacking yuan-ti and the pillar collapses. With its destruction, more stones rain down from the archways. The entire structure shakes. Another pillar, next to the site of the skiff's crash, collapses. The gazeebo pitches and twists. The roof collapses from one side to another almost in slow motion. Everyone in or near the gazeebo is showered by falling stones.
[This includes the two yuan-ti halfbreeds, the illithid and yuan-ti abomination, Ya'shenn, Du'minh, and Ii'jyka'vaar. All must make reflex saves DC15, full damage or none]
All of the enemy manage to keep from getting totally crushed by the collapse, that is except for Ii'jyka'vaar's opponent. Du'minh's latest pillar victim falls directly on the yuan-ti. Stunned and unaware of the seriousness of the situation, the yuan-ti noble does not flee the collapsing structure, and is burried in rubble. Du'minh's opponent does read the writing on the wall, and runs away from the collapsing gazeebo. On the eastern side, the illithid and their protectors are pummeled by stones. They manage to escape the gazeebo bruised and battered, but alive.

Catching a support beam on the shoulder, Ii'Jyka manages to step out of the way of most of the falling rock, but does not manage to get from underneath that supportbeam, and is half knocked to the ground, being forced on one knee and into a crouching position.

Taking advantage of the confusion and noise of the falling gazeebo, Ar'dru moves to cut off the illithids' escape. The yuan-ti with them moves to intercept, but Ar'dru kicks off the ground and fairly leaps over the serpent. He comes down on top of one of the illithid, crushing his foe to the ground then skewering it with his greatsword for good measure. The illithid squirms a bit, but quickly loses conciousness.
"Kill it!" The other illithid orders the yuan-ti, and the serpent obeys, attacking Ar'dru. The illithid, however, does not break its stride, and continues to run towards the path into the garden proper. It almost reaches the path, but suddenly Na'rai appears out of thin air directly in its path, brandishing her military fork. Unable to stop or change direction in time, the illithid finds itself run through and staring a smiling githyanki warrior in the face. Not quite dead yet, the illithid releases a mind-blast at Na'rai at point blank range. She stumbles backward, withdrawing her weapon from the illithid's abdomen, but though her knees buckle she does not fall. She leans on the haft of her fork to steady herself a moment, then stands back up fully and faces her opponent again. The illithid lets out an angry hiss.
[I know I strayed from init order a little, but the drama is good.]
Seeing the Great Enemy trying to slip away Du’minh seethes with anger and takes hold of his reliable friend, the Arbiter. Ya'shenn's mind reels as she attempts to process what seems to be -- to her, anyway -- the irony of that statement. The psion's love of battle and danger is rather less than that of a typical githyanki, and probably much less than that of a knight.
"I hope you won't object in this case, sister..." The psion focuses her thoughts and touches Ii'Jyka'Vaar's forehead, further depleting her psionic strength (and health) to heal the knight, at least partially. Once that is done, she extends her arm to the githees, much as Du'minh had done only moments ago, before the three of them had teleported.

“Your venom can’t slow me down, snake, much less stop me. Allow me to return the favor.”
"My venom ... " the yuan-ti hisses as he attacks Du'minh. He gets in close, too close, thinks Du'minh with a smile as he delivers a savage uppercut. The ornate scimitar cannot parry the heavy swing of the Arbiter, but just before the flail connects, the Yuan-ti close up spits a stream of poison into Du'minh's face.
Arbiter connects, kicking the yuan-ti backwards.
[DC ... 20 reflex save. If failed make 2 DC17 fort v. poison. 1st effect d6 con as above, 2nd effect blindness for d6 rounds. The yuan-ti noble is alive, but wounded.]
[yet to come - action on NW side, Gy and K'tch vs. shield, 2 spears, and bow. Yuan-ti abomination vs. Ar'dru]
Gy-Nath rolls to the side of the remaining shieldman and attacks the exposed spearman, the one who he punched telekineticly. He hits the soldier square in the large metal medalion that augments the guards' armor, and breaks it in two. The guard stumbles back, bleeding, but medalion might have saved the yuan-ti's life, for though wounded, he still stands.
On the East side of the now-ruined gazeebo, the remaining mind-flayer and Na'rai face off. She uses he military fork to steady herself, her knees still weak from the illithid's mind-blast. Before the monster can try again or leap at Na'rai, a pillar of edlrich flame comes from above and behind. emgulfing the illithid's head and catching its hood on fire. It tries to run for a water basin, but never gets there, stumbling over fallen rubble and burning to death on the stones.
The Yuan'ti abomination rears up to taller than Ar'dru, brandinshing a heavy falcion-sword. It looks at the mind-flayer at Ar'dru's feet, and hisses. The hiss turns into a whispering snicker "Whose mind is weak now, Ursh'golom?" She looks at Ar'dru, locking his gaze. "You! You barge into my house, attack my guests, and damage my family's property! You should have stayed in the north, Dragon-gith. Face me, if the stories of githyanki 'honor' are have any truth."
Krayh lands upon the sudden arrival of the the extemely battleready gith lass from Jade and her Skiff of Gazebo Slaying. Upon his feet touching the ground the dimnutive githyanki warlock wills himself visible. Upon hearing hercurt greeting. Kirath smiles knowingly and says "Impressive entrance Na'Rai. Although next time I would like a little more warning eh?"
Gy-Nath said (sorry I still have not figured out how to use the quotes yet so bear with me)
"Have your skiff ram the structure in the center. This will likely drive the ghaik out of their shelter, especially since the several archways caused by the pillars are their real reason for being there. If the bounded spaces are broken they will want to be elsewhere and quickly. Those of our number with flying mobility will create a distraction and a hazard in a direction we do not want them to go, while the rest of us hit them when they are on the move."
To Gy-nath's plan Kirath says"I have no objections to this plan but we must execute it quickly before the whole place is leveled"
Kirath then rises into the air just high enough to look eye to eye to Ar'du "Will you accompany me cousin in raining fiery destruction upon our enemies?"
