Ar'dru pauses upon landing and takes seven deep breaths of the smog-laden air.
Upon reaching a decision he packs a significant amount of his worldly wealth deep into his pack (although he leaves a few prominant pieces out for trade) and strides towards the nearest temple of Tiamat. Ar'dru approaches the first acolyte of substance that he sees and booms
"I seek to arrange a pilgrimage to the home of the great mother of dragons. To whom must I speak?"
OOC- the latest copy of my online PC sheet seems to have died. I might have a backup at home but otherwise I'll have to re-do my purchases from earlier. Does anyone remember how much gold we've earned so far?
“It is highly alarming with such breach in security among the ranks of the Eyes. I suppose there is the possibility that Schaaz-Khaal did indeed take precautions to learn Mim’s true allegiance but sought to play the ghaiks at their own shadow game. Still, we should expect the worst – our assassination team is currently en route to take the traitor down.”
Du’minh reaches out through the telepathic link to contact Ya’shenn.
“Take the utmost precautions with your target, sister. I have learned that Mim is a spy much deeper than what could be expected – she may have special items, allies or other aid that shields her from psionic detection.”
“I also ask that you attempt to seize any evidence of her activities – her “master” Schaaz-Khaal is an important figure in operations to which I am associated.”
Returning his attention to K’dar, the Rish-I-Chal listens carefully on his update on order of day among the Silver Eyes. His eyes widen at the news of Gith’s sword.
“So the Sword now allegedly lies in the hands of the commander of the True? That is… astounding, to say the least. I can understand the overall reason why we joined the Eyes, though I am a bit leery of the whole bloc division that is developing. On a longer term I rather hope to work for unity among the People, for the reforming of an empire that once was.”
The hunter sighs, nodding to his old friend.
“Regardless, I appreciate the openness, K’dar - let us speak more of this when time allows. May silver winds speed your way to recovery.”
Unless his captain has more to say, Du’minh departs and finds his way to the old sharpener’s shop while staying mindful of telepathic exchanges among his companions.
