Fontifier.com has started to charge, is there a way to create fonts for free? Do any other websites provide such a service? I'm working on a githyanki font but have no way to turn it into the right file type...

Font makers?
The font has been designed, I just need a program to turn it into truetype file. I was going to use the fontifier.com site, but I don't want to drop jink to do it and they started charging last year. I'm a cheap sodding berk, I want to keep my money in my own pocket...

A quick beGoogling turned up this site: http://www.high-logic.com/fcp.html
It looks like you can download that program and make your font during the free trial period.
There are probably other programs you can use for free for a time, or maybe forever. You can poke around as easily as I can.
How goes the work on the font?
