You should be using BBCode instead of HTML.

Yes, they're all very nice. I particularly like the bariaur Taker, who is the happiest Taker I've ever seen. Normally they're made to look very mean and grumpy, and why should they with a philosophy that's all about getting all the candy (or whatever it is they want)?

As for githzerai and githyanki, githzerai are normally much more simply dressed, while githyanki make themselves much more fancy. Githyanki are more gaunt, skeletal, and reptilian. Githzerai are more lithe and catlike.

Ooo thank you Rip! I've always read the descriptions in the Monster Manual and so forth and never really noticed a difference. I tried to make the 'yanki look a little harsher than the 'zerai, but that's all I knew how to do.
They both have yellowed skin right? Do they have spots? I remember them being spotty....XD

The difference between them was much more marked in 2nd edition, where githzerai had regular noses and githyanki had higher-placed, snubby noses or no noses at all depending on who was drawing them.

As depicted by Sam Wood in 3rd edition, they both look more or less the same. They both have spots (though I really liked the version that used to be in the gallery of the City of Doors Initiative, where githyanki had spots and githzerai had stripes).

I actually liked your take on the gith. They're always drawn the same and, to me, look really odd. They usually end up looking like some sort of psionic zombies. I guess there isn't much to eat on the astral plane.

Off the top of my head, I thought zerai tend to be a browner shade of yellow as opposed to the yanki. At least that's the way I picture them.

Good art. I like your style.

I like Princess' gith too. I'm just sayin', is all. Google Image Search shows a good selection of how differently githzerai and githyanki have been depicted over the years.

Oh, heh, sorry, I didn't mean you were dissing her gith. I guess I didn't need that "actually" in there.

I'm glad you guys like them. I'm sure they'll look different once I color them, I'll try to show some more differences. Also, that's just the preliminary inking, so i have a lot more detail to put in. That's when I do more things like spots (or stripes Laughing out loud), ritualistic scarring, fancifulness of clothes etc etc. Laughing out loud

and Rip, I'm glad that you noticed the Taker was happy. She likes taking. She likes it a whole lot. There's a pic I drew of her counting taxes with an abacus and she's very very very happy Laughing out loud
