Are Evergold lake (fountain of Youth) and Morwel's Fountain of Beauty the same thing? Are they somehow related?

Evergold gives +1d4 +1 enchantment bonus to Charisma that lasts one month. (Manual of the planes)
The fountain of beauty in the court of Stars gives +4 sacred bonus to Charisma for 1 week . Dungeon Magazine #149

According to, uhh, Planes of Chaos I think, they are the same thing. Evergold visits each of the Powers known for beauty on the plane, in turn (which was Aphrodite and that elven one when the book was written).

So, basically the change from 1d4 +1 enhancement bonus fot 1 month to +4 sacred bonus for 1 week is only a matter of conversion from 3.0 to 3.5....

Yep. I looked it up in my Planes of Chaos PDF. Evergold was originally shared between Hanali Celanil (the elven beauty goddess), Aphrodite, Sune, Freya, and "other goddesses of beauty." At this point, Morwel and the Eladrin had not yet been introduced (that happend in Planscape Monstrous Compendium II, I believe, although I don't think Morwel was mentioned yet).

According to Planes of Chaos, If a creature bathes in Evergold for more than an hour, their Charisma increases by one point per five points of existing Charisma (rounded up), and their apparent age decreases. These effects last for one year. It is unknown if Evergold actually decreases age or just grants the appearance of youth. Also, it is extremely difficult to find, enough so that it is essentially impossible to find it again in time to renew its effects.

The pools effects were presumably nerfed for 3rd edition because Charisma was made into the casting stat for sorcerers.

PS: My thanks to whomever got rid of my triple posting.

That's true, you're right. But evergold's power and the fountain of youth are both different in 3rd ed. One is enhancement bonus , the other is sacred. One is 1d4+1 the other one is +4 (the same change between eagle splendor in 3.0 and 3.5 ed) . And the biggest problem is that one is enhancement bonus , the other is sacred. The second one is far more powerful, but it lasts for less time.
