There is no other Celestial in Creation more loved (literally) or respected than Eros, the Seraph of Love. Standing at the pinnacle of physical and spiritual perfection, he is the personification of love in all its manifestations; including physical passion at its strongest, tender, romantic love, and playful, sportive love. And, there is no other Defender of Freedom closer to Law.

Known for his passionate voice and tender ministrations, Eros is a proficient healer of hurts; particularly of violence engaged in the acts of non-consensual sex. Unbeknownst to many, however, Eros is, contrary to many expectations, not related in any way to the Defenders of Freedom. No, Eros’ story begins long ago, not in Arborea, or in the other Celestial planes but on the Seven Heavens of Celestia. As the Supreme Virtue rose into the defined Realms Above, her blood creating the Silver Sea, the wind of her essence merged with Neutrality and Chaos, creating entities of her, and yet not of her. Eventually these beings reached full consciousness, creating the first Chaotic and Neutral aligned lawful good beings. Eros stood tall among these beings even then. The purity and beauty of his voice and actions speaking more clearly then words of his benevolence and holiness. Eros possesses a medley of both chaos-infused and axiomatic blood; the twin essences singing a hypnotic hymn of near perfect harmony. As such, while whimsical and flighty, Eros is not above sticking to actions if he believes the course is ethically and morally correct; displaying a single-minded intensity devoid in most, or even the entirety, of Chaotic Good Celestials, and indeed the rest of the Defenders of Freedom. And while rigid in mindset and rule, Eros is aware of the harmony achieved and goodness proliferated with the changing of ways and discourse.

Standing close to 9 feet in height, Eros is without a doubt the most beautiful of Angels. He possesses a perfect, classic beauty and appears as a perfectly featured and formed humanoid male with a slender, athletic body and platinum skin and velvet-black hair, tinged with strands of purple. He tends to like garments reminiscent of a noble’s attire; perfectly proportioned to fit his configurations. A pair of great, blindingly luminescent white eagle-like wings sprout from his back. Moody and melancholic, Eros’ voice is akin to ten thousand angels raised in harmonious praise to the Heavens in spite of the incredible sadness that drags at his soul.
