I noticed that there are progressively more spell, NPC, and monster stats in the Encyclopedia. Would you say that this is the best idea? It opens up a floodgate that could more than triple the size of the existing encyclopedia, not to mention riding a fine line regarding legality.

The Spell Compendium and Planar Handbook aren't covered by the SRD and I don't think they're covered by the Open Gaming License, either. We should probably cut that entry -- we don't want WotC deciding that we're bad for business.
I usually delete stuff that doesn't have any planar connection.
