Ebberon's effect on Modrons

I don't know if this has been covered before, but can a modron use warforged feats and items? They're both contructs, but alot of the warforged stuff seems to be based on the use of interchangable parts and upgrades. Im just not sure if this can be used for modrons. The only two rouge modrones I've seen to change their form are a certian modron egoist who grew (spikes?) and Nordom, who changed his wings to extra arms. But the egoist used psionics, and no one ( not even Nordom, if I remember correctly) knows exactly how he did it.

Just wondering.

Modrons are outsiders rather than constructs, but they're enough like constructs that they can interchange their parts - at least, they can change their limbs, including their wings. I'm not familiar with the warforged feats, but modrons can probably take them.

There was an article on modron magic in Dragon #241 that included a number of new components that modrons could have installed.

I would rule that they could use the warforged items, but not the warforged-only feats, because of the difference in game mechanics between the two races.
