Dustmen (and others) that worship Death

Not Death GODS, mind you, but DEATH with a capital "D"! What Cleric Domains should a worshiper of Death have access to, and what (if any) alignment restrictions? (I assume raising the dead is a no-no in such a faith, calling for Atonement...)

I should think raising the dead would be impossible in such a faith without the use of magical items such as wands ... certainly death itself isn't going to offer this spell to its priests. Any whorshipper found using an item to bring back the dead would indeed lose all clerical ability until such time as he or she atoned in a method dictated by the church.

In one of my campaign settings Death whorship composes one of only three churches to survive a world shaping god war. (the other two being Time and Nature) Death, not being particularly interested in communing with its followers, never appeared to them or interfered in their lives, as tends to be expected of gods in DnD style games ... instead it offered a very specific set of clerical spheres and the gift of a single request for each of its priests - at some point in its life a priest could ask one boon which fell within the limits of death's power and Death would grant such, but only once and it would never intervene again. (Not only could death kill, but it had access to the knowledge of all whom had died - a PC used such to acquire the true name of a lich villain)

(In one of my games I had a champion of death whose job it was to locate and kill individuals whom had cheated death for too long)

Whatever the DM thinks is appropriate... Remember that in 3e rules, clerics don't have to worship deities to get spells.

Which probably includes the Death domain, there's also other clerical domains spread out there in other sourcebooks like Repose and Deathless.
