date the last post since it is no fun posting to something that is a year old and hoping to join into a conversation about it. spool the old stuff in an archive and have just the things that are happening in the now to get center stage. get a 900 number so we can dial it to give a buck or two on the phone bill instead of a few on the pay pal acct.

i see many places where the last post is not dated. year old meaning 2004, sorry i'm not very literal. thought the 900's just got a cut of the action ( didn't know )

We recently converted the forums to a new system so that may be what you're seeing. But yeah - 900 numbers cost to establish - the only way they make profit is after enough people call them.
1) The last post IS dated.
2) We've not been around for more than a year with these forums anyways - archive what?
3) We're non profit. 900 numbers *cost* to own, up till they pay for themselves - so we really can't do that though it's a decent idea.
