How funny it is to see what happen when someone say : now you're free to create what you want to add on the basic background of planescape!
The huge brain strorming that results is so vast that it has scared wizards of the coast.
The reality is that they don't want you to break their game. If this community of players change the story by himself, they'll never be master of it again, and some times, you won't accept the background's evolution that they propose.
In fact, what planewalker propose in letting players write the game has create... anarchy!
I think this is good, this has the taste of novelty!

So, a brief history of UP:
1. We started on the Wizards boards.
2. We moved to our own site so we could have more room and more easily develop our ideas.
3. Now we're at Planewalker.
I think point one is the most important, here.
