i know i'm new and my opinion most likely doesn't count but i think i time pirate is a way cooler idea than a pimp. i mean what could a pimp do that a pirate couldn't do better? in a would void of spiffy little hand guns what could a pimp possibly do?

ven, just one thing to mention: not even Brian has played with Brian's Pimp. And please, don't turn this forum into another silly items like feud  .
And Swan, i think he said BERK mispelled a word. not that you misspelled berk.

and in one last, if feeble, attempt to resotre some sense of order to this forum, i post not so much a silly class, as an odd class.

I will post the class in a new box for the sake of convienienvce ( and yes ven, thats misspelled, i already know, and i don't care. Bleakers for life!
oh whats the point...)

well, better late than never. Im sorry about how the charts turnned out, they got messed up during the transfer. But with a little work you can make out what they mean *hopeful look*
Vagrant (Hobo) class.

Even the most upscale city has its downtrodden. Its poor, it’s weary and weak. The lowest ladder of society, these people are affectionately called ‘Hobos.’ But for the Hobos, life is a challenge, and the ones that look beyond their next bottle of bub have a keen mind, and quick reflexes. They would have to, to keep one step ahead of common thugs.

Adventures: Adventuring is the best hope of a Hobo to reach the upper level of society. They have no attachments, no reason to stay, so they travel the planes, in search of treasure and a place where they can live in peace. Experienced hobos often multiclass as either rangers or rouges to help them along their travels. Although, most hobos travel only when a particular city is no longer as charitable with its jink, and are in need of new business.
Characteristics: A Hobo is always poor, and is often very good at scrounging. While rangers are the masters of travel throughout the wilderness, the Hobo is the one that can navigate a city by heart. Its not unheard of for a Hobo to dress up as a tout, paint some circles on his forehead, and lead people around Sigil for jink. When a Hobo is discovered by the real touts, however, things can come to blows.
Many hobos develop a bit of a rancid smell from their time in the refuse, and suffer a –1 to charisma.
Alignment: When your planning on making sure you can buy a loaf of bread for the week, you don’t worry too much about right and wrong. However, to appease anyone that might offer them jink, Hobos are always neutral in some way.
Religion: A handful of Hobos are barmy priests, and will stand on a block and preach about their god. Often in the middle of a bust street, which can easily annoy those trying to walk by. But in their hearts, most Hobos worship Fharlanghn, hoping for a bit of good luck along their travels.
Background: Hobos usually have a bit of an attitude, and are almost always sarcastic. It helps them deal with their life.
Many of the unprepared sods that wander into sigil become Hobos, and all of sigils Hobos can be found in the Hive, they are closely watched when seen in most wards.
There is also the Order of the Vagrant, which is a loose confederation of Hobos that live in the sewers and streets of major cities across the planes. They will protect most hobos from harm, and accept any Hobo as a member. Although, they must be convinced that you are a hobo, and not a down on his luck rouge or bard.
Races: Any race can be a hobo, although some races don’t stay there for long. Beware of any fiendish race posing as a hobo, the likelihood of a real ‘loth hobo is extremely rare. Mindflayer hobos should be shot on sight.
Other Classes: Most Hobos gravitate toward classes that ravel as much as they do, such as rangers, barbarians, bards, or rouges. They get along fairly well with druids and are often on a short fuse with paladins.
Role: A hobo is best used as a combination ranger rouge. They can lead their party members to specific shops in an otherwise confusing city, and can convince random strangers to drop a few coppers in their cup with minor enchantments.

Vagrant spells
Vagrants don’t know any fancy spells, or powerful combat magics. They just learn a few things to keep them going.

Game rule information
Hobos have the following game statistics.
Abilities: Intelligence determines how powerful a spell a Hobo can cast, how many spells he can cast a day, and how hard those spells are to resist.
Alignment: any neutral
Hit die: d6

Class skills: Bluff, Climb, Concentration, Diplomacy, Escape Artist, Gather Information, Hide, Move Silently, Open Lock, Search, Slight of Hand, Spellcraft, and Survival

Skill points at first level: (5+intelligence-modifier) x4
Skill points at each additional level: 5+intellegence modifier

Class features:
All the following are class features for the Vagrant.
Weapon and armor proficiencies: A vagrant is proficient with all simple weapons and the rapier. They are also proficient with light armor, but not shields. They are proficient with the Hobo knife.

Spells: A vagrant can cast spell from the list at the bottom of the page. Most of these spells have to do with travel, warding, or evasion. There are few outright attack spells. Vagrant spells are treated as arcane spells that require no preparation, and can be recalled at will, should the Vagrant make the appropriate concentration check (DC 12+ spell level) However, to learn the spell for use on the flay, a hobo must spend (1d6+spell level) days learning a specific spell.

Alms: Alms is a skill that makes the people around the caster feel more charitable. Any who hear the incantation must make a will save (DC 20), or act as if under the compel spell, with the command being to drop a handful of change at the caster’s feet. The amount is determined by the following roles: roll a 1d3. If 1, roll 1d20 coppers. If 2, roll 1d8 stingers. If 3, roll 1d2 gold.
This also discourages people from stealing from the caster. While in affect, anyone who planes to rob or harm the caster in any way must make a will save (dc20) or they will forget about the caster entirely, and walk away, not remembering him for at least 1d3 hours. In either case, any that are affected by the spell forget that they heard the incantation, and are left with the impression that the Vagrant was merely mumbling “alms for the poor.” This skill can be used once every day.

Craft hobo knife: Once a week, a vagrant can craft a small weapon out of a refuse of the junk pile, as long as there is any glass, metal, or stone in the trash. The Hobo knife deals 1d4 damage, varying in affects.
Roll a 1d3 to determine knife type. If you roll a 1, it is made of stone; it is treated as a normal knife.
If you roll a 2, it is made of rusty metal. A rusty metal blade forces the target to make a fortitude save (DC15) or the wound becomes infected, dealing 1d3 constitution damage over three days.
A roll of 3 will result in a glass knife, which has a 20% chance of shattering during each attack. If it shatters during a hit, it deals and extra 1d2 point of damage as glass splinters slice the flesh. However, if it breaks on a miss, the vagrant takes the 1d2 damage, unless they succeed on a reflex save (dc 15), at which point they let go of the knife.
Every day, a hobo knife has a 15 percent chance to fall apart due to poor construction. It’s made out of garbage, Berk, you expect quality?

City stride: Due to their innate ability to slip through crowds with ease, a Vagrant travels 10 feet faster when in a crowded street.

Scrounge: A hobo gains 2 to search and spot checks, and has a 10% chance to find a usable mundane item in a any given pile of garbage. If a hundred is rolled, the item has magical properties. A single pile can only be checked once. I guess all those years of picking through the trash paid off. This skill can be used at will.

Summon Stingers: Not the most ethical thing to do, but its nice if you need to garnish someone quick. You enchant 1d20 coppers so that they seem, in any and all ways to be silver pieces. They revert back to their original form after a full day has passed.

Endure Elements: sleeping in cold city streets and wandering through wastelands has toughed you. You have the spell endure elements cast upon you at all times.

Quicksleep: always wary, you can’t afford to be at rest for too long. It doesn’t take long to get stuck by some uppity berk with a knife, not long at all. You have the ability to gain a full night’s rest and all the benefits of such by resting for only four hours.

Hide in Plain Sight: Years of living on the streets have given you the ability to go unnoticed when you really need to. While in a city, a Vagrant can use the hide ability even while being observed.

Summon Greens: As summon stingers, but instead turning 1d12 coppers into the illusions of gold pieces. They vanish after a full day.

Teifling Vagrant Starting Package
Armor: Leather vest (+2AC 15% spell failure)
Weapons: Dagger (1d4, 20 crit/x2)
Skill Selection: pick a number of skills equal to 5+ intelligence modifier
Feat: power attack

Gold: none

Have you seen the Shroud class in Unorthodox Rogues? The blood's a graverobber who steals jink and secrets from the dead in graveyards, often using information ripped from corpses to blackmail people or to find hidden treasures left behind by the deaders. Not exactly the type of cutter to invite to dinner...

Just imagine what your dead friends and relatives could say about you if someone were to ask. What secrets did they take to their graves that you would be afraid to have them share? What secrets are you taking to your own grave that you would not want others to know?

What pathetic excuse for the existance of multicellular orginisms do you think you are, you putrid son of a loth! (no offense to Sheshmika, Aikin, or any of Sigils other resident fiends), now I don't care if you insult me, that doesn't bother me, but when you blindly and ignorantly insult everyone here, with each a simular message that is a different story (yes, nameless sigilian has randomly sent several of us insulting messages, oh and I find it funny that it's all the people from the same school.) I don't care how much your pathetic waste of existance craves attention!.....

You both know better.

If you have issues with each other - take it to PM. Or take it to me so I know the names of those involved. No not attack, wither it was provoked or not on the threads. This ends *HERE*.

After thread locking generally comes banning. And I will not discriminate between sides if such action is required.

Are we green? Super green? Good.
