Hello,
according to Mimir.net, the Communals have a kip, the Palace for All, in a burg called Perfection Through Work.
I imagine the Palace like a realy big manor with a collective management : everyone works for the community according to the Communals philosophy. Each necessary activity is located in a specific part of the palace or outside, for example the ironworks is located outside to prevent a fire, but most of the other workshops are inside the building. The children are educated as a body to the age of 12 when they must choose a profession : crafter, savant (not well appreciated), fighter, wizard...
How do you imagine the burg itself? The Palace for All (architecture)? The life of comrades inside and outside the Palace, and how they interact with the inhabitants of Perfection Through Work?
Sorry I did chime in sooner...I overlooked this one somehow.
When I read this, the first conundrum that came to my mind (although probably one of the less important aspects) was "What would this look like?"
I had conflicting visions...on one hand, I thought of the "sanctioned" Soviet art and architecture that created brooding works intended to inspire the masses
But the uniformity of the Soviet style was due to a strong central power enforcing its rules of what it considered "proper" art. Without this central authority, would there be a chaotic jumble of different visions of that type of architecture and style would be for the "greatest good"? Would it harmonize in some odd way due to the share noble intentions of the faction members? Or would it be maddening to look at?
