Call for Crunchies!

So I think with contributed articles drawn from existing sources and new articles in the works, we have enough good fluff.

I would like some new crunch, sadly my utter weakness that I am working on correcting.

Items, Spells, Monsters, NPCs, Skills, Feats, etc would be great for this and subsequent issues.

I'm still of the opinion that converting the PSCS crunch (prestige classes, feats, skills, class abilities, etc) to Pathfinder is a great place to start. Converting is easier than starting fresh, and as far as I can tell, the stuff in the PSCS is pretty dang cool.

Re: Call for Crunchies!

Good point, just figured I'd put the call out there in case someone has already created something using PF or 4e rules.

I'm not overly worried about having lots of crunch for the first issue, though it would be nice. I would like to get a back log on crunchy stuff, as I suspect it will be a big bottleneck as time goes on.

Of course, once we have the first issue done it might be easier to draw in people from places like Dicefreaks that specialize in statting up a lot of planar beings.

It would be helpful to get some more numbers-oriented people in here, yeah. Anyway, where do you figure we should start in the PSCS? Feats? Skills? A prestige class?

How do these things even work in 4e? I really don't know a lot about it. You change classes at 10, and again at 15, or ... something?

Re: Call for Crunchies!

Honestly I think anything people are interested in would be fine.

Over time, I hope to really get both systems under my belt (was out of the gaming loop for quite some time) and contribute. Right now my knowledge of 4e is nothing and my PF knowledge is filled with massive holes.

I don't think its the end of the world if we're lacking in crunch, but it would ideal to have something to offer in at least one system every issue. Still, we can always go with campaign spotlights offering some options for DMs, and some DMing advice.

Just want to separate this largely OOC zine from the Sharper Eye, which I want to get back to helping once this first issue goes out.

I stickied this post Smiling We want crunch! We will try to find editors to provide compies of your crunch for alternate systems if you drop it in the queue with enough advance time for us to do that.
