Re: BoG'r OOC.

I have been in command, albeit it was a unit of about 6-12, but I have had command in my previous rank, that's why I am a "Sarth’Gar", aka Lieutenant.

Re: BoG'r OOC.

OK. And she may want to emphasize that, but the pirates do not see her as a command figure, but as a Knight.

Also, I don't think the current characterization of her is so out of line. The pirates will certainly notice that nothing in her oath mentioned either commanding with benevolence or actually obeying orders. Khem is trying to do right by her and by the fleet, both. Ii probably would better fit the role of engaging foes as she chooses instead of acting like a commander. The pirates will best accept her in that role; if she tries to take command more explicitly, there are bound to be problems.

Speaking of problems, so far you haven't even started to deal with the REAL pirates, the graith of the fleet.

Tbh, I dont care one way or another for the Graith, if the do their bit, I accept their actions as much as those of a Gith..

Neither has the Gith fleet mentioned them, at all. Sticking out tongue

posted something to show my interest and willingness to work with another captain on a ship of my choice...

Lol, good point. Shall we say "responsible" leadership then? As in; don't lead the fleet into total disaster and don't kill a gith on a whim.

Whoever is in charge, of course.

BTW, I did like your post. I don't know if you thought your wyvern could transport the swordwraiths instead of the Voidwalker doing so, though. I mean, it could, but only 2 at a time at most. Remember, the wyvern had to spend its entire effort just to remain aloft when carrying yourself, Du'minh, and Na'rai.

I also never stated I was going to squander nilly willy Sticking out tongue.. did not think as they did not want me in command that it needed stating so far at all anyway.. heh.

I will not state that unless they make some demands to this effect I guess.

Swordwraiths piggy-backing on the Wyvern? wasn't my idea of efficiency..
Teleporting is touch, isn't it?, that way I would not by means of flight give any advantage to his "reach" unless he was also included in the piggy-backing..

("Him" being the psionic teleporter)

Re: BoG'r OOC.

sorry for the absence I sent Azure Kirath's oath. Although I did think of him blasting the skull to bits and calling it an affront to his honor that he would have to swear an oath at all. But to be more politic I went with a more tempered approach.

Thanks! Glad to be back With all this talk of dealing with githyanki scum/pirates of the Black Fleet have we forgotten about the graith? Or do we just think that they will fall in line?

Trying to keep the githyanki and barbarian crew from mutiny (or desertion?) is half the fun!

Yeah the site has been spotty. Also, I have been very busy lately. Doing what I can though.

The main reason the gith haven't mentioned the graith is that the DM is still fleshing them out Laughing out loud

The graith will give us more problems, Blade. One of them is a captain in her own right, and they all don't have the basic Gith sense of racial loyalty. Having the Gith on our side will help us, hopefully, but winning over the graith leadership will cement the deal even more.

What do you all propose to do when that opportunity comes around?

Re: BoG'r OOC.

I am wondering if the situation aboard the ships is such that Red Dread, or other graith, will be giving orders to the PCs.

I doubt that, they dont even normally order other Yanki, why should they order the pc's? Which ship is she on?, I am gunning for the all but fasted ship, for several reasons... (Raven's Claw)

Re: BoG'r OOC.

I am just starting off in another game with a psion Githyanki, who will build "fantasy equiv of aircraft" (looks like Heinkel 111), I have so many ideas in my head on how to rebuild ships to a githyanki-steam-punk style vehicles, but I am crap at drawing like this ^^ unfortunately...lol.

Re: BoG'r OOC.

Cool, BS. I kind of like the fantasy-punk look for the githanki, actually. They are pretty high-tec, but in a way that incorporates psionics and magic into their technology. I don't see our githyanki in BoG'r as going full-on steam-punk, but instead as having an element or two here and there in their gear. Gy-Nath has a true-seeing gem, but it's not in goggle-form or anything. Yet Azthri's glasses fit in.
