CG, you can strike conversation with other bystanders. I have certain NPCs in 'the crowd' of non-voting githyanki. Let's see ... for the git'ribani - Ha'kan'a the Lame and Kitiir. A PC turned NPC in the party - Rish-i-chal Du'minh.
Will be best imo if we have a wrapup of the previous scene first, that way in the next scene we can start properly anew.
Hopefully by then Zimmy will have turned up.

Ugh. Sorry folks, I know this game has been in a coma for months now. I do want to try to revive it, but I've got a huge stonework project eating up a massive percentage of my energy right now. Well, stay tuned, maybe I will come up with something some night I'm not too tired (or tired enough that I start hallucinating, that'd make for an interesting post)

Burning, apologies for the very belated response. I was nearly homeless for a while and I just found a place to live so I will now have more frequent internet access again. Huzzah!

So we just got back to running my drow campaign and for Christmas a friend of mine bought the Incursion Dungeon magazines for me. So I am going to run it with some pretty major tweeks to fit in with my current campaign. I wanted to work in our merry band tof pc's and npcs to be an encounter so if you guys could help me out with class levels, feats and items that would be great. But if any of these things will reveal something that you don't want known about your characters don'i worry about it.

I just re-read the entire game thread and I wish I had the technology to make an animated film of it all!
Sadly, I've decided I'm rather unhappy about the way I've been portraying Azthri. I can do far better than this. I *know*, however, that she will come into her own at some point. There a few darks about certain elements of her recent past that will start the ball rolling, I hope.
And has this been the shortest revival ever or what? Azure..get a grip plz!
Well looks like this thing is totally dead. Stick a fork in it. I'll still be checking from time to time but I am really disappointed. If you say you are going to revive it do it. If you don't have the time just say so.
Well, I must offer an apology. I intended to try and revive the campaign. BoG'r is still, by far, the longest-running game on these boards. I re-read (almost) the entire thing. I still have not yet come up with a post to revive the game, leaving it open for anyone to post, while advancing the plot without railroading (a charge I am sensitive to, having had it leveled on me here in the past).
The task is not simple, however, and I'm not sure yet how to do it. Also, this game has always been a group effort. Not one of the original players was still active at the last leave-off. The only constants have been the DM, and the vision. There is nothing wrong with players interacting with each other, IC, either. Kirath, Ar'dru and Athri' are probably standing next to each other. They are also with the other Git'ribani NPCs, including Du'minh.
I am, humbly, deeply, sorry to those who have been frustrated by my own lack of progress at this point. I'm not sure right now if I can, or even want to, make any more promises to re-start things. I don't mind criticism if it's constructive, or if I can construct something out of it. Even so, I prefer aid to criticism.

I understand that you have to find a great post of some concept to reanimate such a long ongoing story line, but I think your setting the bar to high right from the beginning.
Maybe have the meeting dissolve and maybe have the remaining active players go on a side errant until the others can be contacted, like Zimmy...
Or start somewhat again, with a different ongoing (ignoring this one for now), but using the same characters..
My thoughts so far, hope it helps..
Edit, weirdly enough I did not get any updates from the site saying about the last 2 posts.. maybe something for Clueless...

I would post, though I doubt Azthri would have anything of use to say on the matter at hand. Derog, however, might.........though it would strongly arouse suspicions as they would be very out-of-place for a gith of Azthri's background to think of, even given her several years as a member of the Incursion, not to mention her inferior rank in comparison to most of the participants.
