Hmm. You know, this is starting to sound like a task. In fact, it sounds like it might be a fun task.
If the party takes on this task, Git'riban won't burn in the meantime, right?

You mean, some action again?
Besides, Zimmy, you've gone quiet on the PM front, wassup?
Waiting for a scene change. Personally I would like for nothing more than underdark trek to kill some illithids
I simply want some action, and hunting illitihids in the under-dark is a bit boring imo..
to each their own I guess

I briefly saw Bladedancer online just now, but he did not post
There is that portal in Ssamath that Az'thri'Zhan'kel mentioned earlier, as well as any portals that Lahar might know of that the party isn't aware of yet.
Ya'shenn would prefer a portal in/near a city that is important to Lahar's goals in some way, for political reasons, but as long as the party gets back to Git'riban...

I think the party is going to see "action" soon enough. Whichever portal the party decides on, our PCs will probably have to fight their way there for at least part of the journey. I imagine there will be encounters in Sigil (or UnderSigil) as well.

What kind of information is she looking for specifically? Just wondering.
(Also, I figured Ii was just bored -- but is she actually worn out from casting that divination, or something like that?)

Info? hmmz, not sure, but more info then simply what we got so far... anything really..
maybe
I have the feat Omniscient Whispers, and its use makes you exhausted..

I wanted some ability that did not make you have to be a single class high lvl caster, but still nifty..
And I like the ability to gain info in more then one way... but the way it can be used is restrictive, and thus the questions need to be right..
Are all of Styrrn's ships missing along with Styrrn himself? Because it would be fun to poach one of his vessels as payment for his 'desertion.'

Idea 1: The party 'borrows' one of Styrrn's ships. (This would be fun...)
Idea 2: Lahar says something to Pale that goes like this: "I understand that you 'borrowed' two of my scouts recently. In addition to returning my scouts, which you will do immediately, you will lend one of your vessels to (the party)." A way for Lahar to get one over on Pale, if he's so inclined. Also gives Pale/Mist the chance to screw with the 'gift' ship -- i.e., it's barely air/seaworthy, the shipboard rats are all spies for Mist, etc.
Idea 3: Land route. Buy horses/whatever and go to, say, Westgate, by land. However, the maps I can find of that stretch of land are kind of so-so. I'm not clear on whether or not there would be spots where they would have to swim, cross a bridge, etc.
Idea 4: Underdark route. Only works if an entry point and exit point are conveniently located. Also dangerous and time-consuming.

I like no.2
Actually, no. ALL his ships seem to still be here. Styrrn himself is m.i.a., along with a small number of senior minions. So either he's hiding somewhere in town, or he escaped in a way nobody could mark.
I should have something up tomorrow Most of my creativity has been taken up by the two campaigns that I am running.
That sounds fun.

This area of the Dragon Coast was first settled by humans from the Vilhon Reach roughy 3,000 years ago. The largest place was the human town of Westgate, ruled cruelly by the great topaz dragon Kisonraathiisar.[6]
In -349 DR Saldrinar destroys Kisonraathiisar and becomes Westgate's first human king[7].
In 257 DR, pirates from the Pirate Isles invade Westgate and start a 200 year reign of Pirate Kings.[6]

Foreign PolicyEdit Foreign Policy sectionEdit
By the Year of the Ageless One Westgate was one of the few free cities left on the Dragon Coast not occupied by either Cormyr or Sembia. In order to preserve its independence Westgate plays both powers against each other, perhaps even supporting insurrections within Cormyr's borders to stem its expansionism.[8]

Yes, as always. I cut myself back to ~56 hours per week at my 2 jobs because I wanted a day to spent with my girlfriend. Might be a moot point now, since we are on pause at the very least, and possibly breakup So, yes, but significantly less busy on the weekends for the foreseeable future.
Aw, sorry to hear that. Hope things improve for you.

Thanks guys. Maybe things will work out, maybe not. I'm not giving up quite yet, tho.
So anyway ... POST mo'fo's, will do scene change sort of soon, but wanted a little party interaction first.

Azure: I send hugs, oh noble DM.
Zimmy: Don't apologize! I find your posts to be great fun and always a pleasure to read. I am attempting to ensure that Azthri stays within the boundaries of the chain of command and not ask too many questions. Granted, it would be in character for her, though Derog would likely have a fit and force her to copy lines from githyanki treatises on proper young githwarrior behavior for the next tenday. >_>

I don't think that party members are expected to be silent, though. Especially since this is something of an informal occasion -- Lahar is doing a pretty fair job of getting the entire party drunk, after all. Azthri might not know that, though.
The party isn't a true warband, either.

Prescicely right on the mark on both counts, Zimmy. For the past few years Azthri's entire existence was defined in having a warband. She nearly had a nervous breakdown when first learning to readjust to not having one after the Carnelians were slaughtered. It gave her a sense of true belonging, comradeship and worth that she did not experience much of in the Hive. Even with the giths she met during her forays into Git'riban, she felt her Hiver status was a liability and attempted to center herself in her work as a doctor, which had the effect of alienating many of her non-githyanki friends still in the Hive. Azthri is a tad hypervigilant when it comes to being the honorable, polite guest yet, as you can see, this often backfires.

I feel a little frustrated every time I see loads of text in each of Zimmy's replies, lol..
But then she does fill it with detail and character, whilst I can do some strong one-liners, but often no more..
I hope one day I will give as much
Man, I give Zimmy a compliment, everybody comes on-line, but no one bothers to post
I think everyone's probably picked up that Ar'dru doesn't really do a lot of talking unless it is a topic that particularly catches his fancy. This works well for me as my internet access is a bit sporadic but I can usually keep up with everyone's posts and usually conclude that Ar'dru wouldn't want to say anything in the circumstances.

No worries Azriael, I have similar things, but then I am wanting to do more talking, but I try and keep it simple and effective...
Ar'dru doesn't talk often, but he's quite fun when he does

Heehee, congratulations Burning Spear.....Azthri has the character flaw "Weak Willed", which means our githees has effectivelly put the Plague-healer in her place and scared her silent!
I rolled 1d20+1+(-3)= the result is 2
(Azthri proceeds to hide under the table and mutter "There's no place like Sigil, there's no place like Sigil!".....j/k, j/k )
Hmmm "Weak Willed" requires a Will save (d'oh) and the last time I ever had a charcter with that flaw be intimidated I was told tby my DM to just use my wisdom modifier and add the penalty for that flaw.......if I'm wrong, don't strike me with the Hideous Brand of Noob-Shame. It's been a decade since I played D&D and I don't have a gaming circle.
Bah, either way she's still sitting in that chair again like a good rookie while the others return to discussing matters of war! XD
