Huzzah! Kirath returns!!!!
I know how devastating it can be to have your computer die like that. <__>
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss. If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose. If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself. - Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Yeah it sucked bad I woke up to a burning smell in my basement. I walked down to the computer room and saw smoke coming from my pc. It sucks because all my pdf's and all my campaign notes from the two tabletop games I dm were on there. I guess I shoul have backed all that stuff up. That's ok though it could have been my whole house instead of an old computer.
Well, my best friend's older brother's house did recently burn to the foundation. He and his family got out alive (as did the dog and both harleys) mostly because they had an evacuation plan and had done some fire drills with the kids, so everyone knew where to go and what to do. So, the lesson of the day is; have a plan and a smoke alarm. Fire safety is no joke!
On the other side of the coin, I do have a bit of pyromaniacal fascination, hence the NPC Lahar.
Bloody hell, that's still insane. O_O I think I speak for everyone when I say we're just glad you're alright!
I am also guilty of that one, too.....in fact, I'm the offical family firepit-tender and grill/barbeque ninja.

Give it to meeeeee, my precious, I might have use of it
posted a reply, to awaken things..
Glad to hear you're OK BD, Sucks about your computer but at least you're ok. My internet's back up so I should be able to post again.
Oh, anyone who thinks Ar'Dru's jovial behavior is out of character should read up on the samurai. Those guys drank HARD, anyone who didn't was scorned for their lack of confidence in themself.

Good to hear, Azriael, nice to see you back, hope we can get some speed in this story again..
(not meant in regards to battle or something, but at least more active interaction, It frustrates me a bit that because its a lot of talking, the general speed of the game is quite slow, compared to a table-game anyway..(just thinking out loud))

I knew that's what Ar'dru was doing!!!! Awesome!
Azthri does like to drink, but she doesn't get the chance to do so as often as she prefers. In other news, I tore the muscles in my bad ankle and have to be on crutches for at least two months. Worst part: I have finals on this week and next week.
I'll try to post more.

btw, I am here, but a bit at a loss in general
*HELLO..hello..hello.. echo?*
Hail swordbrethren!
I had a wonderful battle with a virus that effectively killed my computer until I managed to fix it.
The good news: As you can see, I am posting! Huzzah!
The bad news: All of my documents, including my D&D notes/character sheet/etc are gone forever.
At least I can take comfort in the hope that my flashdrive may, emphasis on may, have back up files.

Same goes for here as for what I wrote in AsSK
I sent you a message. Let the plotting begin.

Who, me? or the Dm? lol.
Guys, what the heck!
Hmmz, I note that it gets overlooked I was the first to be interested in the book,
it might be accidental, or deliberate, I do not however, want to have a petty fight over a spell-book... or two (missed that it was 2 books at first)
Agreed. I'm trying to get the ball rolling on matters without stepping on Azure's toes. Which would be fatal.....
That dice roller is Chaotic Evil, by the way.

Edit: yes, input noted, and appreciated, we need to get this game back upon its feet :-]

Huzzah!!!! I loved Firebringer Lahar's reply....I think Derog may have touched a nerve. Dumb zerth warlock!

You really need Nergal to tell you that?

Well, the questions to be posed are really limiting ,
Its not as easy to define what is a right answer to a decent question etc.
PS: Zimmy, I pm-ed you loads, maybe your not getting other reports of new replies any more?
I got 'em; now I'll have to think about 'em.

Ah, right , just making sure, because you were talkative, and then sudden silence, lol.
Incidentally, Derog would probably be freaking out when Mist-of-the-Mind is mentioned.

hmmz, ghost vs ghost mental battle? lol, and then us guys doing the physical..
Mist-of-the-Mind was essentially the Revered Queen's spymaster. Good chance that Derog would know this. Very high on the list of people that a githzerai infiltrator would never, ever want to meet.

Oh he is most certainly freaking out....to himself of course....it wouldn't do at all, in his reasoning, to have Azthri find out he's actually scared of anything. Arrogant blighter.
O_O Agreed wholeheartedly.....
Alas, Burning, a ghost battle would likely end very quickly and full of gore, with a high chance of Azthri being the poor source of the gore. However, now your idea as well as Zimmy's observation has kindled a few ideas in my head.....

Well, Azure would know the answer to that question, actually. (How much Derog knows about Mist.) I bet he knows at least a little, though.

Yes, I was just about to enquire that. The last thing I would want is to be completely out of line there.

No worries, but its nice to see we give you new ideas anyway
That's why I love you guys and this rpg! I'm curious to tap into the long-term effects of the psudeo-symbiotic nature of Derog's bond with Azthri, keeping in mind that she is the githyanki equivallent of around twenty-six and had him around since she was in utero. Your earlier mention of the nature of Mist and Pale was especialy intirguing to me.

Now what guys?
