Sorry, have not been feeling very inspired.
I was thinking that the party might want to split and work on different things for a bit (possibly with mindlinks active).
Ya'shenn would like to see if she can get any more information out of Styrrn, and especially to see if she can convince him not to try to escape the city. She would like either Ii and/or Kirath (or some other party member) along.
Someone should accompany Ha'kana (to get his new pegleg), and that can be either a party member or an NPC.
The party might want to consider exploring the sewer system, partially in case they decide to leave Starmantle after all, and partially because it might be possible to use them to mess with Pale (sending messengers out of the city, using the sewers to check out the castle, sending two parties out of the city in opposite directions using the sewers, for example).
Though she's fairly sure that K'tch is not, in fact, a sleeper, she is not about to let him be separated from all other party members for any length of time, and is willing to send a missive or two to try to ensure this.
I'm a bit hesitant to seek out the 'leader' role in the party -- I'm not much of a tactician, especially when Azure is playing the opposition. It's just that Ya'shenn won't obey an order to conscript other githyanki for an insane Ascendant. Heh.

Ar'Dru'll go to whereever there's a greater chance of damaging the Illithid and I think that's probably Sigil at this point.

That's perfectly all right. I've been battling pneumonia, so forgive the sub-par post I wrote.
Azthri would like that, unless of course the party wants her to help them sabatoge Pale's efforts via using the sewers. As a doctor she's seen a sad amount of young people -githyanki included- suffer horrific injuries with varying severity of scarring. Don't fret, she won't coddle or fuss over Ha'kan'a. She will probably get him some sort of small trinket....or cookies.
Derog, of course, will not want to be unwillingly dragged along to witness Azthri's compassionate (read: weak) side again. He's very keen to build up a proper reputation for her to prove her value so as to make her a strong link in the group. Honestly, he's losing paitence with his host's blunders and 'niceties'. In Derog's mind, Azthri needs to fully come to terms with her experiences in her former warband, fuel that anger and turn it against the illithid.
My long-term plan is for Azthri's Sigilian/unorthodox views to become more influenced by the party around her to the point where they start to fall into a much more acceptable githyanki mindset.
The reason this didn't happen as dramatically during her time with the warband was simply due to lack of motivation/shyness. Hopefully, the party will have a chance to meet Azthri's mentor in Git'riban. She's a Unifist and considers herself an exiled patriot.
Eventually, I would like Azthri to pledge herself to one of the power blocs as well, once any of the PCs convinces her to join theirs. Heehee.

silent reply?
Damn, they must have all fallen asleep after I posted
Well then, I guess I gotta wake everybody up. One thing, mostly aimed at Zim; I can't have an NPC say "I heard you were looking for Capt. Styrrn" unless you mention that to someone. I can have you 'run into' Capt. D'aynn, but Styrrn you have to look for. Since you never said it, I guess its too late ...
*HELLOOOOOooooooo.....ooooo....*
Bloody-well wake up you LOT...
**Some people need their asses kicking I think**
No need to kick mine, mate. o_O I just didn't want to bombard the game with Azthri's blunders/etc.

Sure , It's just my way of saying ppl should post
It's no fun seeing a game slowly die of neglect...
Sorry, but I've been super busy. I might be able to come up with something tomorrow while I'm at work, but I need to do a big post and I haven't had time. So, anyone who wants to react to the current situation should do so quickly (BS, as the wyvern is your cohort you are welcome to say what he's doing in your posts).
Scene change coming soon.
Sure, no worries... I was just commenting in general, not to any one person particularly
Do I sense a plot twist, Burning?
I have been somewhat busier than usual. I may not be posting as frequently as I would like, but I will still be posting.

College will be resuming for me by mid-August, just to warn everyone in case I cannot post as frequently within the next few months. I'll post here when it starts.
As always, I love everyone's posts!!!!!
Ten years ago I never would have considered playing a githyanki.....thanks again to all of you for making this a great tale.

The figure that walked across the air was indeed Lahar, his red hair being identifiable even from a distance. His actions imply; - he is not afraid to put himself half a mile from the aid of the rest of his forces just to prove that he can, - he likely walked to a closer range with Pale either to use or threaten to use a power, - He likely contacted the Necromancer privately, - he has a flair for the dramatic, since everyone in Starmantle saw him walk across the air, and he could have just as easily come into range with his ship instead.
In what sense do you think so?
Azure, has Styrrn definitely left town?
Ya'shenn described Pale's forces to the captains before (but can do so again for Azthri), but she hasn't really fought alongside him to the extent that Styrrn probably has. He might have some insights.

Poor Kirath is potentially doomed, I suspect. O-o
In more solemn news, college is resuming next week. I will still post on both rpgs and will let everyone know if there are times where I will be absent. Keep BoG'r alive!!!!!!!

Since Lahar is being secretive about his position (aboard the brig), perhaps the party can be as well. They could walk into the Customs House, for example, then dimension-door aboard the brig... letting the Firebringer know beforehand, of course. Probably less attention-getting for Pale's forces than if the party took a skiff/other vessel. One githyanki teleporting two others, to save on the number of dimension doors used.

I second that. Azthri will be delighted to accompany anyone willing to meet with Lahar, though honestly she will be terrified out of her wits, as I suspect he will be the most powerful githyanki-blooded person she has ever met. I have also been brainstorming concerning Azthri's defunct and obliterated warband......an idea has occurred to me....one that may be revealed later if approved by Azure, though if revealed to the wrong person (our resident Knight, for example, or Ar'dru or Du'minh, perhaps even Gy-Nath) it will inevitably result in her death.
In fact, I warn the players to take note of anything odd about her in comparision to what I've shown before.

Sorry for the delays I will post tomorrow morning
Seems that we have all falleen asleep regarding this and the other campaign, I hope this is just temporary and things will kick off soon again
Well, I did in fact post a while back. I assumed everyone was likely bogged down by work/college/personal life. O__o

Loved the post, Zimmy. Ya'shenn is always such a pleasure to watch when she interacts with others, even in the most unpleasent situations.
In other news, I'm still debating which PC character's 'block' Azthri will join/be seduced into.....though I honestly can't see her as an Apocalyte. =/ As things are progressing in the game, I realize that in a way, Azthri is very much like a blank for sword-smithing. In the right hands, she could be forged into something deadly and useful......or just a show-piece!

Burning, just in case it was confusing -- Ya'shenn didn't actually say that quote from Kirath aloud. She was just thinking back and remembering.

On a different note,
Azure, can we assume that our characters have bought all they wanted to buy now? or is that still an "in progress"?
Just so we know what we have to pursue and we know what we can use, come the occasion.
Azure, did you miss my question?
Sorry, the answer is "in progress"
Crap
Sorry guys, exceeded my download limit so my internet's crap at the moment. I'll post when I can.

None of the NPCs have any desire to go back to Pale. Gy-Nath does not want to fight fellow githyanki (as he sees Pale and Mist). His main goal is returning to Git'riban.
