Oh, they have plenty of ideological/religious reasons to conquer Prime worlds. They view graith as inferior to begin with and have an expansionist/conquest-oriented mentality. I believe the Incursion specifically involved a hunt for relics of Gith and the search for the Githyanki homeworld. I believe the Incursion also involved the Revered Queen attempting to gather enough power (for example, through relics of Gith) to transform herself into a deity.
The actual search for Gith's regalia was unknown to most githwarriors. Senior asn mid-level officers directly involved in the search were informed on a need-to-know basis.
The reason for the Incursions attacking prime worlds was partly to conquor enough surface lands to logisticly supply her armies in the baren underdark. Vlaakith, insane and homocidal as she was , was also still all about the war with the Great Enemy, like any githyanki.
The
operating cieling of a flying astral ship is limited by the temperature and
avilability of oxygen in prime world skies.
Could the pilot theoretically have the elemental usher in some fresh air in case of low oxygen (due to high altitudes, most likely)?
Regarding
Oerth -- Did the githyanki at any time attempt to actually ally with
Iuz? Of course, Iuz is the sort who might at best say "Sure, we'll pretend
to ally with the gith bastards, then we'll backstab them at the worst possible
time!" Perhaps the 'yanki attempted to obtain a temporary truce, but it
failed dramatically due to the general not-so-nice nature of both Iuz and the
githyanki themselves. There is also at least a small chance that the various
Oerth groups, who normally hate each other, might ally against an extraplanar
threat, so the githyanki would seek to prevent that possibility.
Iuz has indeed forged unlikely alliances in the past, in particular through the Temple of Elemental Evil - and ironically he was the one backstabbed by his allies.
I’m not sure it would be in Vlaakith’s best interest to try diplomacy with him in early stages of an incursion, until the giths have sufficiently exploited the element of surprise - part of the reason why I suggest they withdraw from Highfolk once its border nations start marching through it. When the extent of the gith invasion is no longer a secret, however, that’s a likely option to be explored (even if I also think it will fail dramatically).
The Circle of Eight would probably try to forge alliances against the giths once they learn the extent of the threat, but I can think of surprisingly few others that would be likeminded (I’d wager Celene’s isolationist policy will hold them from acting until it’s far too late). There’s really a lot of tension and truces just waiting to explode all over Flaeness, which should work to Vlaakith’s advantage.
Dunamin, no reaction on my freezing hands?
It was cool, but I guess I figured it was some sort of mystical feature that Ii had and didn't think much further about it.
Is it something that would have a more than unpleasant effect on Du, considering they barely hold hands for a moment?
Euhm, basically i have a vile touch, if i do unarmed damage i do

I'd been assuming that he didn't because he didn't have enough standard levels to qualify for the psi-like ability as listed in the expanded psionics handbook. He will next level though.

So, for now, 1 round of flying will be sufficient. However, he'll take d6 hits (of d8 damage each) and need to make a DC 14 fort save vs poison.
She leaves K'tch be, sensing his bride is wounded enough, and he isn't desperate for help anyway.

whinces when the suggestion is made (in her eyes she is not properly commanded
by any present, merely acting as allies) , she makes no move to retrieve any
heads she has stowed in her bag of holding. (i recall all the heads i have (2?)
were done so not in Hlondeth, right?)
There has been no suggestion yet, let alone an order.
Let's see what Kirath's move will be, it should be interesting either way.
weeellll, i was unintentionally then a little fast, i thought the command had been given ingame, but seemingly i mixed the OOC thread with the IC one, hmmz, just ehm...
Sorry to make everything hinge on one PCs action.
It's cool, as a new character Kirath needs a little spotlight to be better established in the game.
Tough decision usually make good storytelling - does he go for establishment of authority or winning of confidence?
Yeah, this is pretty interesting.

No pressure here eh? I'll post soon just thinking of what to do.
Notes to le DM:
If the situation absolutely required it, Ya'shenn would be willing to go on a skiff that does not also include Du'minh, but it's not her first preference.
Being on a skiff with only K'tch would also not be her first preference, not least because the bard probably has a high Sense Motive.
Also, she would regard Du'minh and Ii on the same skiff as rather volatile under the circumstances, since most of the party seemed willing to abandon the knight earlier.

OK. The DM rules that Ya'shenn can be on the skiff with Ii and Du. Will edid IC posts accordingly
I'm confused.
Du transported himself, Ya'shenn and only reluctantly agreed to also bring Ii. He would not go on a skiff exclusively with the blackguard.
Edit: Ah, I see you guys have also noticed the mix-up.
Do the skiffs have weapons aboard intended for use by the pilot? (I don't mind if they don't; just clarifying.)
Also, her clairvoyance ability is recharged, and the control skull grants her a great deal of ability to telepathically communicate for free, but her power pool (particularly attack-related powers) remains low, right?

Also, DM
needs to know whe did/did not obey the order to drop heads. Ii has
Lavendar and Bliss, and she's not dropping them, evidently. The pilot
relays the order, but doesn't say anything when Ii disobeys. Ar'dru has
Meathook, and the yuan-ti noble and one illithid from the gardens.
Du'minh has Foreman (i think), and Na'rai has the other illithid from the
garden and the one from the dungeon.
Du’minh has quite deliberately avoided taking any trophies, though he did give Pigkiller’s head to Gy-Nath. Will be interesting to see what Gy does with it.
Does Du'minh still have the heads of Street and Portal, or are they back in Sigil?

Back in Sigil, possibly left at Gy's place (can't remember). He only brought them to the "war meeting" with the prospect that Rey could interrogate them post-mortem, like he did with Sight.
So who has Foreman and Pigkiller? Gy will have them if nobody else claims them, and though the others wouldn't know it yet, he would drop them as per Kirath's order.
Not Ya'shenn.

If you take a look at my second to last post…
Du’minh has quite deliberately avoided taking any trophies, though he did give Pigkiller’s head to Gy-Nath. Will be interesting to see what Gy does with it.
And way back in the Slaughterhouse…
There is not
much left of Foreman's head once Du'minh is done with it.
Don't remember what happened to Violet, but then again I'm not sure how meaningful it would have been to "decapitate" her.
None of the PCs is knowledgable enough about illithid life stages to know about neothelid, so Violot's race remains unknown, at least untill someone does some major research off-camera. Foreman had no head left, which leave Gy with Pigkiller's, which he drops. Ar'dru has a few heads, what he does with them is his decision.
Note there may be some plot points mixed up in this. If the yuan-ti turn the illithid heads back over to the illithid, the flayers might recognise Pigkiller, its face was badly acid-burned after all. The more heads from Sigil end up on the ground, the more likely Illithid House will be able to link the raid on Hlondeth with the raids in Sigil.
Ya'shenn doesn't have the power points for it right now, but oh.... to be able to mind blast some of those wyverns...

Would a ghaik head even survive a drop like that except as a bad-smelling purple stain?
Bleh what an inglorious end to a raid poisoned by the one arrow that hits him. So for curiosity's sake what exactly did the poison fo do to the tiny warlock?
So, is Ii going to get ready to fire out of one of the arrow slits, or...? I don't actually recall if she has a missile weapon or not.

atm she has a Hammer of Throwing, and nothing else regarding missile, she is not in favor of real missile TBH.
Many githyanki aren't overly fond of missile weapons, but I think they're fine in this sort of combat...the items described in my IC post are also available.

Well, that was a waste of arrows on my part.
Got an idea, though. If a nasty wyvern threathens our skiff, Du will suggest that Ya'shenn maneuver into position for him to jump from open hatch. He still has one dimension door left, so even if Ya'shenn isn't able to "catch" him after the deed is done, he should be able to port back into the skiff if she stays within range.

I'd been considering something similar with Ar'dru actually, an old song about a monkey and a buzzard sprang to mind.
Also, Ar'dru'll be happy to act as 'catcher' if necessary but I'd rather have a few more HP's before he starts aerial duelling.

Technically, Ya'shenn probably could teleport over to either Kirath or Ar'dru, heal one of them, then teleport back. It would take multiple rounds, though, and the skiff would need a pilot. (And Ya'shenn is very low on PPs.)

Exactly.. but then with the ride-Dragon skill, would i get minusses or is a Wyvern also classed as a dragon-like-type?YES! read MM on the type of the Wyvern and it is indeed a dragon type. woot !!!, eghem....found some nice pics of Wyverns on deviantart.
