(if she is no longer able to answer coherently i will just behead her, coup de grace, just in case, i roll for the coup?)
I rolled 8d6 + 27 (coup-crit) and got 58 to behead Bliss.

It seems the game generally has followed this trend for a long while, and I like how it keeps momentum and makes combat run faster in a play-by-post game.
However, I'll point out that there's a downside in connecting character initiative with player posting frequency. Characters whose strength lies in being first to act will have lost it, which is fairly important for rogue and assassin-like characters and critters. I'm pretty much all for keeping this system because it makes the game go faster, but I'll admit that Du'minh's Improved Initiative feat feels like a wasted investment.

You know, technically,
You know, technically, Pig-killer would have to manifest defensively (or take AoOs) to get the mind blast off, but in my opinion it's much more fun to just stun half the party in this situation. 
I'm still laughing at the irony of the psion with the high Will save being stunned. (Hopefully she won't get de-brained in the next 4 rounds.)

About 6 hours game-time since the duel with Gy-Nath.
BTW, note the spelling, it is significant in the sense that as a foot-soldier his name was probably just Gy, or Nath, or some derivation thereof (actually, An'nath, if you must know). He would have changed his name to the two-part "Gy-Nath" to denote a higher status when he bacame a commanding officer. Githyanki names don't really follow any rules like this, but githyanki do sometimes change or modify their names as their life circumstances change. In general, the longer the name, the higher status the githyanki, though it is not a firm rule. In this vein, I did not think it mere coincidence that Ii'jyka'vaar, a knight (a high status position, during Vlaakith's reign anyway) has the longest name among the PCs. I figure as a hatchling her name could have been "Jyka" or something.
Other examples: Gy-Nath's supreme leader was named as "Ali-Gorthifsha-Na'Khaal", a rather long name. The NPC Telas-Niah is about the same level of power/ status (or would be if she wasn't an exile) as Gy-Nath.

Just to clarify, Ya'shenn's prejudice against duthka'giths is in-character only. I like playing a PC with personality flaws, but I don't want to spoil another player's fun. 
I think that goes without saying for all instances of (mature) roleplaying - Ya'shenn is probably relatively more open-minded than most giths in the party, though Gy-Nath seems to take the prize here. Ditto on enjoying playing flawed characters.

. In fact the only reason he doesn't rub other party members the wrong way more often is because he is self confident and arrogent so it manifests more as ignoring those who annoy him rather than attacking them (although there was one notable exception to this).

Hmmm ... If you can explain exactly how you can stuff the head into a bag " in a way that shows its not taken as a trophy " then so be it, but I don't see how. So, Ii will get a disapproving look from Gy-Nath when she claims Bliss' head, but that doen't mean she has to give a sh*t.

1) If it severs it completely, that also means putting on a Ring of Mind Shielding would negate a Thrall power, or any similar, long-term effect.
2) If not, then a ring of mind shielding would supress, but not sever long-term domination or enthrallment.
I'm going to say #2, because otherwise domination would be too easy to break. Just slip a similar ring on the enthralled person.
