, but apart from that its all good and well, i dislike this new layout, as it does not do anything better then the previous one

Yes, but Lavendar was a real wierdo, wanting its own "baby" to raise without ceremorphosis. So wierd and non-normal that L was kicked out of of illithid society at large and bannished to Sigil.
Plus, the DM likes to pull surprizes, and hopes this was one.
FYI, Forum posts are still wonky for me, but I can hit "quote" and read a post that way.

Perhaps Ya'shenn should try to talk it communicate with it? She's still in disguise, knows qualith, and might not have been deemed a threat by Violet, yet...

I was more thinking we could distract/stall/divert Violet in order to aid Daraz in a sneak attack/allow us to fall back/lure Violet somewhere else, if any of those situations should become relevant.
Of course, that's only if a more "conventional" approach to handling illithidae should turn out ineffective, but I have no idea how dangerous Violet is...

Typical illithids regard neothelids as abominations. I think neothelids themselves are indifferent (and will happily munch on illithid brains as well as anyone else's).

Classes start tomorrow, I'm going to be teaching English as a second language and G.E.D. ... ... ... in a NY state maximum security prison! ooc: Ok, checking in here - Azure - I'm working on the display issue - it seems to be an IE6/IE7 css issue. If you have Firefox and feel comfortable using that in the meantime you should be able to easily get to everythign you need to get to.
As you guys have noticed, the dice roller seems to be in shape now.
