Diplomacy , sense motive, and bluff are all on the dragon skill list, and so too for half-dragons.
BoG'r OOC.
tRUE , then let me rephrase, my experience with half dragons/ players that played them has not been to support that theory, better?
Freaking cheat
I dont quite get it, he is actually using an illithid head in a cage as a weapon?????, and he uses psionics to shoot the crossbow?

Magic 8-ball is guessing Far Hand racial ability. The illithid head was probably just to distract Ii visually (so she wouldn't look at the crossbow).

Mage hand?, and ok...

Right! Except for the far hand, actually. Something has to be in sight for far hand or telekinesis. Clairtangency, on the other hand ...
Yes, Gy-Nath is an accomplished kineticist.
Asnd as forr the undead illithid head, it really was more to distract Ii than anything else, but that may change soon.
was that evasion roll of yours for the hit i made against him, and do i need to roll for my 2nd attack to try and hit his chain or what?
Ehm, in what order is it all going now? , clear the mess for me plz...
i wanted to use my 2nd's attack value for the chain, if that was allowed, and my main attack for my opponent...
Just pointing out, if using a melee weapon, Ii can't perform a full attack with it in the first round if she starts more than 5 feet away from Gy. Not sure how far apart they were at the start, though.

ok, to remedy that, i'll use my 1st attack to throw a weapon, dagger in this case..ok?
that would clear up some of the mess
and to be honest the defensive roll was for the Thing, in case he did try to actually hit me..
right:
turn 1, he is faster'
shoots crossbow and swings Thing,
I react by throwing a dagger, if allowed, but then my to hit is 2 lower, still a hit if your defensive roll is that 17...
and my readied action was to cut the chain swinging towards me, thats already done, or is that my turn 2 reaction?
turn 2:
he goes to Disintegrate the roof, i have yet to do anything
my adrenaline just shot up by 10 points on a scale of 1-10
whow, wait up!, how much is he doing in 1 round??
can u answer my questions before i start porting more plz..
Yes and no. It was for the first attack you make against him. However, you already said you were attacking the chain first, and were successful. He has higher initiative, however, and can act before you reach him.
can u answer my questions before i start porting more plz..
Attack 1- Crossbow (dag nabbit!)
AOO - Swing Thing
Quickened Disintigrate, free action.
And sorry for confusion.
Good!
Of course, everyone sees what's going on, right? Gy-Nath wants to play his game, not Ii's. He's got psi, Ii does not, so he wants to make her bleed before she can close.
Burning Spear, I'm sorry if the combat seems odd, rest assured I am trying to be fair as possible, but do not be temped to contradict the DM .

right , in reaction to his disintegrate of roof, i will want to dimensiondoor, Above his current position!, so i will onto him from above about max 1 foot above his person... is that allowed?, i dont intend to get a free attack of it, but it does bring him offbalance i hope.
Cool, roll initiative and attack!
Ehm, i think not, as initiative is rolled once per combat, right?
or you deviate from the standard rules and use initiative each round anew?
Dimension Door: "After using this power, you can't take any other actions until your next turn."

I aM jumping ontop of him thats why i asked if i was allowed an attackroll....
I have only yet made one attack, as a readied action, i have yet to do my own action in the turn of the disintegrate, no?

Yea roll again, it makes the duel more exciting!
.
Yes, true, but Ii makes a de facto attack as gravity takes over. Therefore there will be umm .... an attack roll but also a miss chance same as if Gy had total concielment, i.e. 50% miss chance. So, BS, roll any die and call even or odd. If you call wrong, Ii misses, if you call right, make an attack vs AC 19.

thnx, rolled 16 and i said even had to be it, now i will make the attack roll itself...

Hmmm ... I was thinking you lost your round 1 action in the fall ...

ok rolled on IC board..
Also do a defensive roll, since Gy won initiative.
Just have
I think it out of logic though, that (if you look at the Katana and the Nagamaki (Nagamaki is roughly 1,4 times bigger/ more mass).) a Nagamaki in game terms would only do 2D4 dam base, and a katana 1D10, so i have a 2D6 crit 20, slashing weapon instead, we did not discuss if the 2D6 was for all Nagamaki's or for just mine,
but this imo would be logical.
So in game balance, slightly less effective then a 2hander which is ok by me. 20/x3 instead of 19-20/x2
OK folks, this has been fun, but it's sleepy time for Azure. I work nights, but it is now 4:20 am, so nighty-night for now ...
"Accede" is an interesting word, in English.

OK, it might be an odd character concept, but bear with me.
The Githyanki Bard: Bardic tradititons of the githyanki are different from that of other races. The githyanki bard is expected to be a scout and a lone operative behind enemy lines. They are loremasters, but also jacks-of-all-trades, knowing some sorcery, some swordplay, some stealthiness, and many other things. They might be likened somewhat to Athasian 'bards' who are expected to be as good of assassins as they are musicians. Unlike many other bards, githyanki do not spread knowledge, rather they keep it until they report to their commander, at which point their highly-trained memory and observation skills come into play. One way in which they are similar to other races' bards is in their use of music. Many githyanki instruments are unique, and some cannot even be played properly without an innate telekinetic ability.
Yes I really do sit around coming up with character concepts. The githyanki bard isn't going to be anywhere near as interesting as the (insane) illithid with bard levels that will be coming along, I think.
Heh heh. You know that illithids play the bone-thriven not only for personal entertainment, but also to keep thralls suitably unsettled and cowed, right?

is that possible pirat Gith joining us or not? , would be cool imo, i like pistols...
I've heard from Weishan. He's being burried in homework, but is willing to come back when he can. Have not heard from Trias, but I have already explained (I think I did) my plans concerning him.
Have only heard from Duckluck that once, so am concerned if he'd be an often-poster or not. If he expresses that he is still eager to join, he can come in ... {hello? DL?}
"ARRRR, it be time to make the bloody Squids walk the plank!!! Ain't it, cap'n?"
(I have to wonder how Gy-Nath would react to that. Haha.)

they (Ghaiks) would be able to trace the stuff back to whoever of the party sells the relevant stuff, so either dont sell, or sell it to someone u can 100% trust i guess..
I'm selling stuff that I took of the victims of my ever-so-pleasant mugging earlier on ( ). Nothing useful to trace. It's not like large arms purchases in Git'raban are uncommon anyway.
Yeah. I was thinking that (with care) we could buy/sell most things, but I wouldn't recommend selling, say, the Drizzt scimitars or the life-drinking shortsword, seeing how those were the personal weapons of individual Tamers.

Of course, unless we can find the drow in question and conince him to pay us back for them.
Street might have taken them from a drow, but not necessarily. Illithids sometimes forge their own weapons (or, more probably, have the thralls do the menial work, while they themselves do the 'fine' work).
I'm not sure if anyone checked, but either they or the shortsword might be magical/psionic. Even if not, illithid-wrought scimitars would make nice trophies.

General question:
How does this 'party' go about dividing spoils?, is it just a case of grap what u can, and any kill u make, the items otf that kill are yours per default of you having made the kill in the first place?
thoughts?, so i can 'blend' in
Situational/no formal system, as far as I know.

It's not really come up yet, I don't think.
I don't know, some people might want to play duthka'giths for roleplaying reasons.
I am honestly surprised you are directly adressing me, even if it is on the OOC board...
They might, yes, but its often rule, that certain people will play a certain race on a certain concept of character, Half-Dragon is not known for its World-savvyness, but anybody can try ofcourse,
that being said, Dutka'Gith has a little up compared to the savvyness of a 1/2 dragon.
