Between the Spaces III: Foris Universitas

Whilst this conversation is going on, Summitfinder is only partially paying attention. He is mostly watching the surroundings, and the inhabitants of it. He is trying to spot whether there are any familiar shapes out there. Familiar is a relative term to him, as he's not all that familiar with the inhabitants of the Planes that he so recently arrived on, but as we appear to be on a different set of Planes, he's interested to see whether the locals are different as well. Plus, he's trying to see if there's anything amongst the metallic architecture that seems, to him, to be 'natural'.

Charlotte starts jumping up and down in place making herself jiggle like that water being is (I assume that with even us talking to it our breath will even leave little ripples on the water being). "Take us to the Astral!" she says rather loudly, then "Take us to your commander, your high person, your king." she whispers the last part into what you would assume what would be the water beings ear and keeps jumping and jiggling up and down.

Rik follows at a steady pace, attempting to stay away from the fast-turning gears

The tiefling follows, giggling and jiggling as much as she can.

Bruce smiles a little as he watches the Xaosect sisters jump around, and follows after them.

Rishhad follows Rik into the building.

Summitfinder immediately sprints into the building, skirting the tielfing as he goes. He may not have followed a great deal of what's been happening recently, but slightly to his surprise, the girls are clearly playing a game, and that he does understand. And like any decent goliath, once he's found a game, he wants to play it, and wants to win it. He too, therefore, will try to find somewhere to hide within the building.

Well assuming there's anywhere to hide, Hide check included below...

at first Rik gives the man at the desk an apologetic look and tries to resist the urge to leave this place to tour the city on his own and come here later after those idiots have gone. or better, go with the guide and come back later if at all, much safer and i was the one who payed after all. after the man speaks Rik gives him a warm smile and say "really?". "well, i hail from a different plane and arrived here with those people by accident. do you have any idea how i might go back to the place i came from?"

Bruce follows the group at a slow, easy pace. He is rapid glancing around, following the movement of the city and its people. He watchs, amused, the game of tag, then walks over to stand beside Rik.
"This might not be the best time to make long term investments." He whispers. "I doubt anything like this has happened with a rope trick before, and I don't know what will happen when it ends. We are away from where it placed us, yes. But we still might end up back where we began. Maybe you know more about this kind of stuff, but it might be a good idea to wait untill the spell would have ended before doing anything important. Or at the very least, anything that might involve money that we might not be around long enough to get the full benifit of."
You notice that although the way he carrys himself hasn't changed to how it was before, the accent he picked up is gone.

There. I passed on his message. Now tell me why I just missed a game of tag?

The tiefling is more competitive than originally though. She tries for another leap, fern or no, with a whooping yell "I FOUND YOU."

Summitfinder can proudly claim an AC higher than 7. Assuming that the walls of this place aren't smooth marble type affairs, he'll try and climb one of the interior walls. Sadly without the benefit of his climbers kit, because he doesn't have time to get that out, and because the nice people who own this place might object to him hammering spikes into their walls.

are there any seats in the office? if so i sit on one and take out my spell book to memorize new spells, if not i will sit on the floor and do the same.

Assume Bruce to spend the hour making small talk with the xaosect twins, if possible.

As Summitfinder climbs, the tieflings smile turns into a pout. She crosses her arms and turns her back on him, and then looks around the room, trying to pick some...spot that she would assume her sister is in and turns her back on it also.

She approaches Bruce, pointing at Summitfinder. "Not fair! That's not hiding!"

Summitfinder calls down "We're playing tag aren't we?"

If not, clearly I'm going to have to drop down and find somewhere to hide. Which is difficult when you're my size.

*Charlotte stays where she was hiding and pulls out some jacks and a ball and starts playing jacks and humming to herself. She is used to her sister not being able to find her for sometimes days at a time.*
