The game is Asylum Seekers {I love plays on words} an rpg where everybody is insane! All PCs must choose a particular mania as a weakness. In return the DM will give a super special secret power, unique ability, heirloom item, pocket full of candy, or otherwise fun gift. The aim is to have fun and be wacky. The action will occur in Sigil, the party's first task: escape The Gatehouse.
Starting level will be ECL 4 to 5. Unique ideas for races, interesting character backgrounds, and other coolness may be allowed to stretch this a little with DM say-so. Understand that the 'gift' may increase a PC's power substantially, but will be tied to how unique or debilitating the 'mania'. Try to come up with unique ideas, we can't have too many emperors in one party!
The game will not be combat heavy. In fact, it would be funny if only one party member was good at combat at all! There may be a few dicey situations, but players will be expected to survive them using good role-play and insanity. That said, the DM has a split personality, and EvilDM is a rat bastard. He likes putting PCs in situations with no easy solution to make the players think. He lives for the 'oh shit' moment when the PCs see what they're up against. He loves it when after the PCs succeed in their task, they still feel a little dirty inside. The other DM personalities try to keep EvilDM in the closet, but he's really strong, and he gets out all the time.
I would be up for the challenge, personally. I've always wanted to play a berk with a few screws loose. Would an insane Signer or Sinker suffice?
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss. If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose. If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself. - Sun Tzu, The Art of War
