Anything we're missing or should revise?

I'm still curious about what ways to make Hobgoblins more diverse from Orcs but my views clearly are much different from everyone's else. Also, we'll be changing Alzrius to a Fire Elemental involved in the Blood War?

So, anything else?

What iconic D&D monsters and things else we require?

As a double check: Do we have PC-playable race stats all around? What about regional feats?

Statted PCs include orcs (although we may still want to fiddle with them, actually), Hobgoblins (although I'm not sure if we ever decided on the ability modifiers), Otaki (although they may need another look over), and Beholders (who are completed as a basic progression, but still need special equipment and prestige classes to be truly playable). Hmm, maybe we should revisit our PC race write ups before moving on. Some groups, like dwarves, currently have next to nothing written about them.

I never liked Regional Feats much (I like character history to be purely backstory) and I don't think we need more feats anyway.

Oh, and Alzrius absolutely needs to be a demon for Ortho's history to make sense. It was his chaotic and evil nature, and the destruction he caused, that led to the Harmonium's great crusade against chaos and later inspired the War of Iron. If Ortho's greatest enemy hadn't also been an embodiment of pure chaos, then the Harmonium wouldn't have been half as zealous in their wars, and major genocides could have been avoided. Sorry, but Alzrius is way too closely connected to Ortho's backstory to change now.

I think the fire elemental thing was in reference to looks alone - not to his nature as an Abyssal Lord.

Yes, he's an Abyssal Lord. Though I wanted to instill rumors he's not a True Tana'ari.

Overall, I'm going to do up a "true PC" write-up for Hobgoblins rather than just the Monster stat version, though that would imply someone would also have to do an Orc version.

(FYI- does everyone find the Revised Orcs acceptable?)

Can't comment quite yet as I need tohave a decent look at the (new) material first, but I'd say what we really need is:

Comprehensive Timeline

Lot of things need nailing down in black and white in the timeline, which I' sure will also reveal a lot of "dead time" in Ortho's history that could be developed. I'd like to see it designed around making things clear and easy for developers at present. We can modify it into a PC/DM history later.

I suggest we do the Forgotten Realms thing and insert something weird happening every year.

Now, I actually wouldn't mind having a bit of dead time. It gives us spaces to fill in later. The FR timeline is as over-stuffed as it is is because of twenty years of supplements. It was probably pretty sparse at the start too.

At any rate, I think Armoury's right. One of us needs to buckle down and make a timeline. It should be pretty easy. Just take the timeline Rip made way back when (it's in the PDF), and add the dates from the province write ups and other important dates we've decided on (I'll make a quick summary of the history of the OCA for whoever decides to do it). I'd be willing to do it myself, but I've already got a whole Government section I'm committed to, and I don't know how much time I'll have for it this semester. If I finish the Government section and none of you guys have done it yet though, I'd be happy to do it.
