A Project I was Working On

Hey, I've been working on this one particular campaign, it's going to be pretty big. It isn't based in the Planescape setting really, it's more of a separate setting using alot of Planescape inspirations.

Anyway, I pretty much have a shopping list of planes I'm using; the premise is that the campaign is run by randomly generating planar sites. It's all somewhat longwinded to explain, but the short of it is that I'ld like soem help coming up with some sites for the planes. I've already tapped the VERY impressive resources in the Planar Index on this site, I was going to see if you guys could come up with anything as well.

So the first two questions, you have any ideas for a fantastical site on the planes of Air or Earth?

Examples of what I and my friends have made up for Air and Earth already:
Air: The Gale
The Gale is a massive tornado that reaches through the entirety of the plane of Air. While the powers of Air have considerable sway over the how the winds move across the multiverse, the Gale is the actual mechanism of that movement. (If you want to use the Gale in your campaigns, you could set it up in various ways... that the greatest, most ancient power of air in your setting created the Gale, or that the Gale just is. The Powers could alter the effects of air after it leaves the tornado, or they could even alter the tornado directly, each mental command instantly changing the direction of the windflow in ways so slight as to achieve the desired effect.)
The Soarwhale Gargan: In my campaign, I'm letting my pcs hop a soarwhale over to a far off city they need to reach. Plus I was watching a documentary on great passanger ships. Put those together and you have the largest floating passanger liner in all the planes, stopping at the Port of Air and Sea (A nice floating island on Air,with a vortex to Water beneath it, and a large city in between), the Citadel of Ice and Steel, and some various other cities. The largest soarwhale ever recorded, with a gondala roughly the size of the Titanic, without the need for all those extras like engines, it's the height of luxury-class travel in the planes.

On Earth, I need alot of help. The best I have is one place which shall remain a close guarded secret until I choose for it to not be, Dwarfhold, the grand dwarven city on the plane of Earth. There's also the Millstone, the planar rotary force that drives the constant rotation of the earth and stones on Earth.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sites on Earth, eh?

A realm that gives impetus to gravitational forces; its border is a zero-g boundary, gravity shifts inside to focus toward the center, and it gets stronger and stronger as you head down toward that center. The realm is pierced all around with portals that lead to a space that appears to contain a massive black hole; as they shift, open, and close, gravity storms lash the realm. Near the center (which appears to be the spherical "bottom") many of these portals are constantly open and the tug is intense. Perhaps something is being held in their gravitational matrix.

A realm of magnetic stone is sacred to druids; its passages are carved from enormous ferrous rock strata that are permanently magnetized, and any steel (or bronze/brass) equipment sticks like glue to the outer columns. It can just barely be pulled off by someone straining away from the realm, but trying to bring any in will only make it stick harder.

A vortex to the quasielemental plane of Vacuum on Earth. Interesting premise, sounds pretty good. Any other suggestions?

As a quick edit to the list, I've moved based Air and I'm onto Earth and Fire now.
