Because of the new previewed 4e class, the Seeker basically the Arcane Archer (actually Primal Archer) mixed with 3e spellcasting ranger, as a full class. So what you have is someone who can unleash angry spirits with arrows and thrown weapons, and happens to occupy the same role as a Wizard, Druid or Psion...
And then I thought of the image of what would happen if it was a Rogue Modron that was a Seeker. A Modron that speaks to spirits is odd in the first place, but you know a lot of things can make a Modron just suddenly break with their programming, and go rogue. Most of them will of course seem a little barmy, being a little analytical when speaking to spirits that no one else sees. And thus we have a Modron adjusting clockwork arrowheads, and uttering trajectories and mathematical formulas.
And it would be more than neat enough to have a Modron archer, unleash an arrow with a trail of ghostly gears. Or release aggressive gear spirits from arrows. Or even better, invoke an axiom of probability to cause the arrows they missed with to redirect themselves at a different target.
