The Tempests are the daughters of Aegir and Ran. These terrible nine sisters roam the oceans sinking all ships they encounter.
They appear as hideous, huge, sea-green women, with hair the color of foaming waves.
They are, thanks to Odin, the mothers of Heimdall.
