St. Ceril the Relentless

St. Ceril, “The Relentless." St. Ceril is a Quasi-deity of order, law, and opposition to chaos, a servant of Pholtus and the patron saint of the Pale. Born in the 3rd century CY in a village near the Troll Fens, he began to oppose all Chaos after his loved ones and entire village were killed by slaadi. He was one of the founders of the Theocracy of the Pale. He founded the Pale's Council of Nine in 342 CY. He is one of an order of Pholtan paladins who seek to destroy portals to the Lower Planes known as the Lords of the Gloaming.
