Rafiel was once a human nuclear physicist in the ancient land of Blackmoor. When his homeland was destroyed by a great cataclysm, his consciousness somehow survived, discorporate. Ultimately he found, and was found by, a lost tribe of subterranean elves, and together they helped one another preservere.
He is thought to dwell in Elysium, somewhere in the vicinity of the town of Pax Benefice in Principality.
