Heironeous is god of chivalry, justice, war, daring, and valor. Heironeous leads his Petitioners from the Radiant Arsenal in Jovar, within the holy city of Yetsirah. He recently moved his Realm from the Fields of Glory in Venya.

He is allied with Bahamut, He sponsored his paladin Murlynd's ascension to divinity. His greatest foe is his half-brother Hextor, and he is also a great opponent of Tiamat. He sometimes opposes the actions of Trithereon, god of freedom. Heironeous and Hextor, along with their dead brother Stratis, are sons of Stern Alia, goddess of culture, motherhood, and war. He has a daughter of his own, a half-angelic demigoddess called Chalice, who is currently imprisoned by Dispater.
