Fundamentals are primitive Elemental creatures resembling narrow-, two-dimensional beings of elemental matter or energy. These little strips flutter and flap in the manner of a bat or certain birds.
They appear on every Elemental, Quasielemental, and Paraelemental plane. Some have suggested that they're somehow equivalent to plantlife.
