These chains, reputed to have been designed by the god Reorx (or perhaps Clangeddin), are forged from solid sunbeams. When used to bind an evil creature, evil souls who gaze on them are blinded. If they try to escape, the chains burn them, but stop burning the moment they cease their struggles.
