Cant is the slang of Sigil, primarily used by the lower and middle classes. Some of the cant has made it into everyday usage and, thus, may be used by the entirety of the Sigilian populace. Although primarily used in Sigil, it can be found being used by folk across the planes.
Cant is not the same as the chant. The Clueless often get these confused. The chant is news; cant is a slangy way of saying things.
