Known as the Bitter Angel, Balam was once a powerful Solar given the impossible task of stopping the sacrifice of sentient beings in divine rituals. It is believed she herself was sacrificed in such a dark ritual, and that act coupled with her failure as a divine agent transformed her into a Vestige.
