Also known as elsewhales, balaenas (bal-uh-EE-nuh) are the living ferries of the Upper Planes. Looking like celestial whales, balaenas travel the River Oceanus, the Silver Sea of Lunia, and other waters, carrying travelers gently in their mouths.
