The ears look ridiculously long. What is it these days with artists making pointed ears so long? Well, the coat and sword hilt are nice, and the sense of motion is good. Not bad, I look forward to seeing a colour version...

As do I, once the scanner starts reading color there will be one. Although I am slightly put off by the comment, "What is it these days with artists making pointed ears so long?" just slightly.

I made the ears long because I like doing tiefling ears like that. And the relative amount of artists that make long ears is not that much in all actuality.

I feel its the widespread visuals of Anime and manga styles that are effecting this. Many young people who grew up with more Eastern styles of cartoons find this way much more familiar to draw. While this helps many with interest in drawing, it also has a tendancy to reduce personal style.

Can we please knock off the 'Anime has no personal styles' argument here? I came, I drew, I posted. I really, REALLY don't want to go into a rant and I'm practically feeling the urge to defend my choice of work with one.

Yes, I had an anime influence, I lived in Japan for 6 years. My family moved to Japan a little after I was born. But I had also alot of influence via the Planescape artwork (hopefully apparant) and if someone wants to berate me, complain, admonish, whatnot- me for what kind of art I have done. Do it through Private messaging.
