After almost two decades of pausing my Planescape campaign, I'm working towards putting a new one together. Using the chassis of Waterdeep Dragon Heist, this campaign will be Sigil - Devil Heist. The changes I've come up with so far:
- The action takes place in the Lower Ward near the street of small gods, on the edge of the Lady's Ward. "Anyone can fall out of the Lady's Ward, but it takes skill to get back in."
- Trollskull Alley and Manor are named for an adventurer that killed a troll and put its skull above the mantle. The building was sold freely, as this individual had committed murder.
- The Cassalanters are known devil worshippers, and are aligned with the Mercykillers. The manor hosts a Kochrachon Devil, who enacts Remaking procedures on the guilty. "The Hells represent punishment above all else: Devils enact spelled out consequences as set forth in their contracts, or as agreed upon by the gods of the mortal realm. In that spirit, under the auspices of the Grand Laws of Sigil as identified by Guvnor Factor Amendakar, the Mercykillers have approved the Remaking process for recidivists. See here Purman, named the Eel for his ability to escape from jail. His skin now glistens with a substance comparable to an eel, and the bones have been removed from his arms. 'Slipper as an eel,' indeed!"
