Introducing Whiteleaf

I find myself Internet-homeless in the wake of recent social upheavals, and am seeking a new headquarters for my campaign setting and all homebrew materials related to it. First glimpsed on the Giant In The Playground forums in around 2010 or so (long since relegated to the Archives and likely impossible to locate within them), Whiteleaf is a world that has existed in well over a half dozen segments of the Internet, at least two of which (the Wizards of the Coast official forums and a small private forum known as the Malkavian Madness Network) are now gone from the Web completely. Whether my own private demiplane will ever drift into permanent conjunction with a more stable universe remains to be seen, but this seems like a decent spot to make one more attempt.

I'm not sure how much traffic this board sees, or whether any of the regulars here are likely to care about such a setting as I have to offer. Please advise.

We have a board devoted

We have a board devoted entirely to campaigns, although none is active at the moment. As long as there is some significant Planescape connection, an occasional series of posts about your private setting would be relevant in the Hall of Records (for more mechanical pieces), the Civic Festhall (for more fluff descriptions), or Behind the Scenes (for materials intended to support a specific campaign).

Traffic is not high here but there are occasional spurts of activity.

Okay, so this board is

Okay, so this board is Planescape-specific? I like what I know about Planescape, but I've never seen the book because it's 2E; my knowledge is limited to the loose 3E conversion material in the Planar Handbook. If everyone here is exclusively a Planescape "grognard" (no offense intended by this term), then I'm probably in the wrong place. Maybe you could help me find a board that I can migrate to? My search engine of choice hasn't been helpful in this regard.

Planewalker.com is, for the

Planewalker.com is, for the most part, devoted to the Planescape setting or the various planar cosmologies for D&D, Pathfinder as well as core, with a healthy dose of creative additions by the denizens of the board.

Posts about your private world that are just that world with no planar connections might be a bit off-topic here. Though I hesitate to send a user elsewhere, there are the very active Steve Jackson Games forums, at forums.sjgames.com/index.php . Many of their forums are system-specific, especially for SJGames' trademark GURPS system, but the "Roleplaying in General" forum http://forums.sjgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19 allows almost anything gaming-related. Several users have blogs elsewhere, such as tumblr or wordpress, where they post larger amounts of material and then announce new activity on the forum. Smaller occasional pieces should be fine as well, as long as it's not flooding other traffic off the board.

They also have a play by post board ( ?f=65 ) which is system-agnostic, should you find any players for the setting.

Of course, the easiest way to find a welcome for your material at sjgames' forums is to convert all your mechanics to the GURPS system. There was a fellow doing GURPS Planescape for a while. :^)

I'm not into GURPS at all. I

I'm not into GURPS at all. I understand the appeal of a universal system, but everything I know about GURPS says that I would disapprove of how they go about it, much as I love the setting of Pathfinder but hate everything they've done to the rules.

Whiteleaf does have a sort of branch which goes into my interpretation of Sigil, but it isn't particularly central. The main thing that I want to talk about right now is a particular Prime Material nation that's heavily populated by Planetouched, which is sort of loosely Sigil-esque, but not really particularly involved with the actual Outer Planes themselves, my topic is more about the day-to-day lives of people in that nation and the geopolitics of its rivalry with the main "player perspective" nation that borders on it. If I added up everything that I've written on my setting over the years, philosophizing loosely about the Outer Planes is close to 20% of what I've done, but my version of Sigil itself is less than 5%.

PS: how the heck do I edit my profile settings on this forum? I'm not seeing a "my account" link anywhere.
