Comics to PS: Final Crisis Revelations

Great stuff in here. Battles between Cain (who turned out to be an infamous DCU character) and the Spectre. Additionally, we get a spirit of God's Mercy, to balance the famous Spectre who served as DCU's spirit of God's Vengeance for the last 30 years or so.

The spirit of Mercy, who suprisingly appears as a nun rather than a spandex superhero, however, was killed (and perhaps raped) and struggles in her own journey to forgive.

The Spectre is just sick of being God's lapdog (as he sees the job), because he believes (right or wrongly) that God *made* him take the life of his own son.

I did something similar in Blade of Innocence with Zaphkiel as I continually believe the celestials are far, far more interesting than the fiends. How do petitioners who become celestials deal with the cruely of mortal life? Most don't remember, but when confronted with it do they have vague recollections? And does this cause them to offer Heaven's mercy or Heaven's vengeance?

In short Good exemplars enrich any fantasy setting and raise the bar of quality that much higher.
