Psionic Power

Accelerate

Anonymous's picture

Some psionicists are capable of drastically altering their own metabolisms, doubling their speeds for short periods of time. A character accelerated in this fashion is under an effect similar to the haste spell, plus a few other benefits:

Greater Sever the Tie

Anonymous's picture

Similar to the Psychokinetic power, Sever The Tie, except that this power can literally blow undead a part and destroy their negative essence if a will saving throw if failed. Even if this save is made, the undead affected still suffer 6d6 points of damage from the attack interfering with the undead creature's animating magic. Disciplines: Psychokinesis (Con), None Level: Psion 6 Display: Vi, Au Manifest: 1 actionRange: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft.

Channel Power

Anonymous's picture

Channel Power allows a Psion to use "Personal" range powers on other people as a touch action.Once Channel Power is enacted, the Psion can choose to affect others with personal-ranged powers for as many rounds as he has manifester levels by touching each creature to be affected and manifesting the chosen power. All powers made to affect a target by touch have normal durations based on the manifesting Psion’s level.

Discover Origin

Anonymous's picture

This power is used to find out the plane of origin of any creature. Instead of divining the plane directly, it taps into a creature's subconcious to find their plane of origin. This means that while the information is usually accurate, it is only accurate with regards to the person from that plane. Thus, if someone thinks they were born on Arborea, but are actually Prime, for instance, the origin will detect as Prime. If someone is unaware that the multiverse exists outside of the realms of their gods, their "plane of origin" may register as the domain of their god.

Comprehend Writing

From The Planar Psionics Netbook--(Author's Note: This power is listed as a power for the Baku in both the Complete Psionics Handbook and the Planescape Monstrous Compendium, but does not seem to be detailed in any of the psionics books. Here is my creation of it.)

Crystal Mind

Anonymous's picture

Your mind fractures into a number of completely independent 'facets', each with all of your mental capabilities, with a resulting number of individual minds equal to your Charisma modifier. With those parts, it is as though you had an entire party of characters in a single body...each part has it's own personaly, but shares any statistics with the original character. The newly segmented mind allows a character so affected to take one extra partial action per facet, per round.

Cascade

Anonymous's picture

Cascade allows a psion to place a number of powers "on hold" within a valuable gem. At a later date, the psion can release "held" powers, as a free action, at a rate of up to 2 per round. To instill powers within the gem, the psion must spend one hour per level of the power for each power placed in the gem, and spend the necessary 17 power points to manifest cascade. At this time, the psion must spend the normal cost for manifesting the powers (i.e., 13 Power Points for a 7th Level Power).

Molecular dampening

Anonymous's picture

Molecular dampening is the opposed power to matter agitation. Instead of exciting a target’s molecules to increase its internal heat, molecular movement is suppressed to cool it down. Objects can freeze, turn brittle, crack, splinter, or explode due to extreme temperature diminution.

Heightened senses

Anonymous's picture

Through means of this power, the caster sharpens all his five senses: sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell. This has several effects, which are described below; the DM can allow additional applications as he sees fit.

Time dilation

Anonymous's picture

This powerful psionic power allows the psion to affect the timestream itself, speeding up or slowing down its flow relative to himself. Slowing down the flow of time effectively hastes the psion, while speeding the timeflow slows him. The amount of the dilation affects the initial cost of the power, as shown below: Haste Slow Cost x2 x1/10 19 x3 x1/20 38 x4 x1/50 57
