Jem's picture

A lot of adventurers, from the looks of their character sheets, carry everything they own and have nothing much invested in long-term assets. But you? You're a Cager, cutter!

Astralwood

joyblood's picture

"Astralwood grows on the dead bodies of the old Powers of Nature. It is no real wood, but a mixture of the God's essence and Astral energies. "I know of no effects bringing it to the Prime or Inner Planes; it slowly dissolves in the Ethereal; and it adapts in the Outer Planes. That is, wherever you bring it in the Outer Planes, it will not be harmed by the environment, and it will appear like an item crafted on that plane - so much that even spells consider it an original item of that plane. "That is what I know of Astralwood. Oh, and it is rare and expensive."

Nosferatutam

Bane's picture

This alchemical compound is a mixture of holy water, garlic, and various other herbs that the vampires are known to dislike. Additionally, it contains certain drugs to increase the concentration of these toxins in the blood, as well as to slow down their purge from the body. Drinking an ounce of nosferatutam makes a creature’s blood toxic to vampires. Alchemy craft DC:25

Black-Tinted Goggles

Fidrikon's picture

These black lensed goggles are vaugely similar to WWII aviator goggles, or thats what some primes once told me. Not every race that walks the planes is comfortable out in sunlight. For some, it can be downright lethal. Others, not so much. These black goggles are specifiacly designed for making the wearer immune to dazzling light effects. For most, it is merely a defense against annoying flare spells and bright lights. For those who have a neutral sensitivity to light, these are a necessitity, unless they do a lot of travel by night.

Most rogue modrons don't wear clothing, but if one wishes to have a cloak or (more commonly) wear a belt, the prices for all such garb are three to five times normal due to their odd shape and size.By: James O'RanceImported from a previous version of Planewalker.com Special Properties: Cost: - Weight: -

Gehennan Fire

Carnifex's picture

Gehennan Fire is a volatile and viscous oil, which upon contact with air explodes into flame; it is collected from certain volcanic oil springs in Gehenna, and carefully siphoned off and distilled.Fiends love to use the stuff as a vile torture instrument, since the tarlike substance clings to skin and burns slowly. It is also used as a grenadelike weapon, like Alchemist's Fire.

Modron Scope-Lens of the Horizon

Anonymous's picture

The aqua-marine lens of this scope is a drop of water from Oceanus. The drop has been frozen with a view of Elysium's skies on its surface, giving anyone who sees through it the ability to see objects at an incredible distance. It increases the wearer's ability to hit, but it reduces their ability to focus on objects that are less than 10 feet away.(This submission was converted, with permission from Wizards of the Coast, from Planescape:Torment).

Chained-Teeth Earrings

Carnifex's picture

The idea of most thieves wearing anything for purely ornamental value is a suspicious one, and upon closer examination it can be seen that these thin metal earrings are actually a series of well-crafted lockpicks. If need be, you can unhook them and use them to pick open stubborn locks. They act as masterwork thieves picks, except they can be easily concealed as a normal earring.(This submission was converted, with permission from Wizards of the Coast, from Planescape:Torment).
