Blast it! Thanks Rip. (Have to admit I can't stand BBC code....) Fixing it now.
Planescape: The Obsidian Portal
Greetings cutters!
Portals are a constant in Planescape, particularly if you're in and out of The Cage a lot. That makes it especially appropriate that I've found a number of Planescape campaigns on Plugin Not Found. Today I'm going to share a few of those with you
For those unaware Obsidian Portal is a great online tool for DMs and players. You can easily set up an account (yes, there is a free tier) and have a wiki, forums, Campaign Journal (i.e. blog) and more to work with. I've found it very useful, but keep in mind I have a very computer savvy crew of gamers.
So here are a few glimpses into the Planes, the things you see when you peer through the Obsidian Portal:
- Cold Blood ( http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/cold-blood/ ) is a pre Faction War campaign that used 3.0/3.5 rules. While the campaign has ended there are some great characters and journal entries to check out.
- Sanction of the Athar ( http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/sanction ) is a personal favorite of mine. A band of Athar find a source of power that will let them challenge the Powers themselves!
- Shimring ( http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/shimring ) takes things in a new direction (non-Canon) and introduces The Prophecy of Sigil. Well worth chcecking out, lots of inventive stuff here.
- Rise of the Planar Trade Consortium ( http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/rise-of-ptc ) A mercantile Planescape campaign using 4e rules and cosmology. The Adventure Log is where to look in this one.
- Planescape Campaign (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/planescape-campaign ) not much of a name, but this one is full of great new items and other clever darks. Well worth digging around in the items and wiki tabs especially.
- Planescape Axis Mundi ( http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/planescape-axis-mundi ) a 4e D&D campaign that attempt to bridge the gap between the original 2e Planescape cosmology and the one presented in the 4e books. This is another personal favorite, truly Epic.
- Era of Shifting Portals (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/planescape-era-of-shifting-portals ) The Lady has emptied The Cage, The Spire is Broken, and Aoskar's relics begin to surface!
- Center of All (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/planescape-center-of-all ) This is the info repository for a game that has run on rpol.net since May of 2009. 16 players in four groups concurrently.
- Half Bloods ( http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/planescape-halfbloods ) In the wake of the destruction of the 452nd layer of The Abyss a cambion and an alu-fiend find themselves in Plague-Mort, cotemplating their new found "freedom.""
Over he next few weeks I'll be interviewing a few of the DMs for these games so watch this space!
Additionally, shameless self promotion moment here, my own three games are not only on OP, but also my current campaign- Planejammer, The Spelljoined - is their current feature for the month of April ( http://blog.obsidianportal.com/spelljoined-campaign-of-the-month/ )
If you use the Portal, especially for a Planescape game, friend me and let me know. I might just end up writing about you!

These are proving very interesting. Thank you.
None of these links work, by the way. Better to use BBCode (like this). The wiki-style links are just making the site think you want to make wiki articles.
